That synopsis is a little confusing - is there a warhead on the ship that is a timebomb planted by a Cylon that Starbuck is going to have to "interrogate"? If anybody was going to act as head torturer of BSG, I'd think it would be someone with more of a talent for detached sadism. Like Sgt. Hadrian, for example. People like that have their uses. Poor Starbuck. That's going to suck. Cylons are such mindfrackers. S. P.S. I did NOT use frack in a sentence like a total TOSser. Goddamn filter.

eP8 sounds like one that I won't want to miss. ;D After watching the old series get canceled, (for no good reason) and getting use to this new one, I now have something to cheer about GALACTICA!!

This is a cross-post. Billy could certainly play that role, but Baltar is even more useful. Consider: Baltar is the President's science advisor, he has access to both Adama and Roslin, he has control of a nuclear warhead (!) that's located inside the Galactica's armor (!!) and best of all, he has a huge guilty secret that makes him very easy to blackmail. He has a monopoly on "Cylon detector" technology within the fleet, which allows him to denounce any troublesome person as a Cylon (like he did with Aaron Doral) or to help conceal actual Cylons like Boomer. If Inner-Six is a real Cylon, Baltar is an even better target because Six knows everything he does and can control his behavior. It seems possible that the nuke mentioned in these spoilers IS Baltar's nuke. Would they compromise his character this fast? I mean, if Baltar threatens to nuke everyone and Starbuck has to torture him, I don't think we're going to see any happy fuzzle wuzzle press conference at the end of the episode, no matter no how. The spoilers say that Starbuck will have to torture a Cylon, not a human with Cychosis (heh), but... HMMM! S.

Is that the first time any of the women have spoken to each other I think so after all one is the president and the other is a fighter pilot - not much in common. Although I would love to see the conversation "hi I'm the one who forced Adama to call of the search for you - lucky you came back when you did then ;D " "Smack - Whap - Pow" cut to the brig ;D

Arggh, going to miss this as I am at a work party (free booze though!!) And the next week as I am on holiday (will also miss ep 8 reruns. Darn). Is this the last broadcast before Xmas, or am I wrong? ? Time to download me thinks. Not that I would otherwise.

Doesn't have to be true Cylon. It could just be someone they think is Cylon for the most of the episode. Unlikely I know.....
Hope you get to see a new Human Cylon Model. Hopping to complete the set by the end of this series.

Which actually might say a lot about Colonial security, given they've had a "Wanted" ad out for him since "Litmus", but he still apparently gets aboard Galactica and plants a bomb....

I'll say this about the ship's security: It's lousy.
It seems that a five year old armed with a popsicle can get into any of the weapons or ammo lockers without trouble.
But, in their behalf: Galactica is a BIG ship and it's UNDERSTAFFED. Also, anybody who wanted to infiltrate will probably keep a watch and learn the guards rutine before attempting anything.

If it was Boomer who let in Doral, then she could have quite easily communicated all she new about security.
