If it was Boomer who let in Doral, then she could have quite easily communicated all she new about security. Even if security aboard Galactica is stretched, and Conoy receives help from Boomer once aboard, there are still two sticking points that have to be handled very carefully in this episode in order for Conoy's movements to be acceptable: 1. His image has been beamed throughout the fleet. IF the Colonials are as thorough in their attempts to seek him (and other Dorals) out as they should be - this should logically mean their images are posted throughout the fleet in order to make any movement between ships that much harder. 2. There is a natural bottleneck aboard Galactica for incoming visitors: all ships must dock in the hanger pod. Ergo, security there should be at its most substantial, ensuring no-one can get on board without going through the necessary checks and (one hopes) counter-checks. This in itself should make getting on board the ship a pretty tough proposition, regardless of how stretched the security staff might be internally, and who may be on the inside (Boomer) to pass on the access codes to wepons lockers (since we already know she has the necessary codes ("Water")). If people can get off a newly-arrived ship and simply "slip" into Galactica via an unsecured door, or by someone thumping a guard on the back of the head (especially after Doral killed a guard in "Litmus"), then that is pretty sloppy security. And with 2,000 personnel on board the G, I'd find it a little hard to accept 2-person teams couldn't be posted around the accessways from the landing bay when a ship is due in to ensure security is fully beefed-up. It's not like the Galactica is going to have civvie ships arriving and departing every few minutes.... Going to make interesing watching, this one...

Initially I didnt think this ep would work but as usual the totally unexpected happens. There's great development in the storyarc, relationships and characters. As always the scenes with Baltar and Six are entertaining. Even though cylon dude raises the question of Adama being a Cylon, first of all which one, and 2nd, it's a classic example of divide and conquer but he has put the doubt in Roslyn's mind.

Well, I managed to vote on the other thread, but couldn't reply either. I liked this one (too). How did he know so much about Starbuck's mum? And that the idols she has are Aphrodite and Artemis (That's what they looked like, I'm guessing)? Very strange... And while the Chief seems to have suspicions about Boomer, Baltar now knows that she is a Cylon, and she thinks that she isn't. And I get the impression that the Pres is considering what Conoy said about Adama... Will make for an interesting future!

Very Cool ep well written and well acted by all Involved I especially liked the acting of the cylon guy and pres. roslin in this one shame we didnt see to much of helo or bamber though. The chief really should be piecing it together now lol... Also I enjoyed the baltar scence once again especially his reactions. Oh and one last thing on the ship where they were holding the cylon were the guards using FN-P90's if so little outdated arn't they??

Reposted from the other thread.
Is Roslin hallucinating, or did the Doc "chip" her last episode? Which Adama do YOU think Conoy was referring to? Do the Cylons believe in Circular Time, reincarnation or time travel?
What will Baltar do now? Come to think of it what will Six LET him do?

Looked like a premonition. Funny pills. But she had a second vision and then immediately flew over to see him "in the flesh" - almost as though something was said in the vision.

But she had a second vision and then immediately flew over to see him "in the flesh" - almost as though something was said in the vision. Like perhaps the Cylons have psychic powers and suggest to her what to do. Or perhaps she is a Cylon and her programming was telling her what to do. If Adama is a Cylon (and we're pretty sure that he was a human at some point) it kind of suggests that Cylons can be designed to replace Humans. I guess that means that Baltar could also have been replaced. Do the Cylons believe in Circular Time, reincarnation or time travel? It sounded like circular time to me but one where some variations are possible. Starbuck said that someone programmed them that way, I hope that that is what happened and this whole series doesn't turn into some kind of philosophical trip that RDM has decided to take us down. Of course the Cylon might have been playing with Starbuck.

OK. I guess one way to look at her visions is to say that she was seeing an alternative time in circular time. Which is what the Cylon seemed to be suggesting.
My only problem with that is: why now? Why hasn't she had the same visions during other traumatic events?

How did he know so much about Starbuck's mum? Given that the Cylons had/have access to the human computer network they probably downloaded lots of information on people they were likely to meet. Perhaps Starbuck's home world kept really detailed records on all their citizens and perhaps the Cylon made a few lucky guesses based on that information. Not sure if his mission was the Galactica or whether he just happened to be on a ship in the convoy. But he wanted people to believe that he was meant to be there so perhaps his mission was the Galactica.

They look to have empty magazines or filled with things that are not obviously bullets, and they have a small optical sight and a sound suppressor. They look pretty sci-fi to the uninitiated, which can't be that many with the exposure the P90 has in the media and especially computer games. I can forgive the use of modern technology, and it does perhaps make it that little bit less likely that if they see Earth, it will be BSG 1980 style!
