So how is Season 2 going to start?
Some thoughts.
Only hours have past since the final events of 1.13.
Tigh is in command but already the pressure is getting to him and he's started drinking again.
Roslin is still in the Brig. Boomer (who does not remember what she did) is also in the Brig.
Though Tigh thinks Apollo should be in the Brig he knows he also needs him to lead a rescue mission down to Kobol.
Apollo sits at the bedside of Adama who is in a coma.
News of the Presidents arrest has spread to the whole fleet, people are talking about a military coup led by Tigh (rumours abound that Tigh has killed Adama), there is talk about bringing down Tigh and replacing him with Tom Zarak.
On Kobol The Chief, Crashdown, Cally and Baltar are the only survivors. Though most of the Cylon force was destroyed or left orbit, a troop carrier of Centurions has landed and is hunting them down.
On Caprica Helo has convinced Starbuck not to kill Sharon and they go about capturing a ship to carry them all back to Galactica.
Anyway to cut a long story short, Apollo leads a resuce attempt and gets everyone back to Galactica.
Starbuck and co return, Tigh orders Sharon to be executed but Baltar (now acting President) over rules him and starts his new career of Protector of the Humanocylon race.
Adama wakes up. End Credits.

Well I think that Apollo couldn't easily rescue the people on Kobol. I have an idea for that:
A CombatSAR (Search and Rescue) version of the Raptor lands on Kobol and pick up the people from the surface. Apollo and Hot-Dog fly a patrol in the sky over Kobol to look after Cylons and protect the rescue mission.
Than some Cylon Raiders come and there begins a battle on Kobol. They fight with the Raiders between the mountains of Kobol. Unfortunately the ComabtSAR-Raptor get damaged and somebody must leave the survivors because the Raptor is overloaded with this number of survivors and one not working engine....
Somebody must drop out of the Raptor. That's the only way to rescue the others on board....
Adama undergoes an major operation on board the Galactica. Suddenly there are major complications during the opration...
Boomer is in the Brig but then she gets liberated by another Cylon Agent which was on board the Galactica...
Col. Tigh has now the Command of the hole fleet but then some ships of the fleet refuse to take orders from him. During discussing this problems with the Commanders of the ships which rebel aginst the coup and the military dictatorship Tigh has an hearth-attack...
On Caprica Starbuck and Helo have a conversation about Boomer. Starbuck doesn't trust her. Suddenly another Number Six copy appears together with some dozen of Cylon-Centurions.....
Another BIG Cliffhanger....

Tigh is in command.
Roslyn is in the brig, being consoled by Elosha, who offers her help on the "outside."
Apollo is forgiven by Tigh, under duress of course, and leads the raptor- rescue mission to kobol. Resistance is still heavy, as there are several raiders left when the Vipers arrive.
Adama is on life support, and critical.
Sharon escapes the brig and steals her raptor, jumping into the unknown. Boxey let her out.
Viper squadron lands & hooks up with the crashed raptor crew, who are looking for Baltar (half-heartedly) while staying under concealment. Cylon Raiders are doing flyovers looking at the wreckage of the downed raptor.
(the vipers are hidden from view with camo netting.)
Multiple basestars jump into the area, (coordinates courtesy of galalctica-boomer) while Starbuck, Helo & Boomer blow by them to Kobol, on a raptor lifted from Caprica (with an IFF transponder transplanted from her raider.)
Helo is left to guard caprica-sharon at the raptor, while Starbuck joins up with the (now very large) colonial party (vipers, apollo & crew, the crashed raptor crew, etc.) who are on a desperate search for Acting President Baltar (missing w/ six, still.)
Baltar is found alone, passed out in a ruin. As the large party sets out to find the Tomb of Athena, the Cylons begin landing ground troop. THOUSANDS of combat models, new, and old.
The episode ends with Ellen Tigh pulling the plug on Adama.

Oh my. That is so dramatic and so delightfully ambiguous (is she a Cylon or just Lady MacBeth?) Adama will be under very tight security, so she must be subtle. Perhaps Ellen and Tigh will go visit Adama, who is still unconscious, and she could slip something into the IV solution when Tigh is not looking. Ironically, it may be only people "who tested to be human" who are allowed into Adama's hospital room. Ellen was the first to pass the test officially (with Boomer being probably off the record.)
I think you guys are on the right track... command chaos. Commander Adama is unconscious, Tigh becomes intoxicated and unconscious and relieved of command by the doctor, Apollo may be third in command but he is in the brig with a charge of mutiny, president Roslin is in the brig, and vice president Baltar is MIA. So now, Lt. Gaeta is in command of both the military and the civilian government? Is he really fourth in command? Meanwhile, Tom Zarek claims the title of "acting president," on the grounds that he tied Baltar for votes, except for Roslin's tie-breaker. Zarek launches attacks against the military, with some help from military defectors who think Lt. Gaeta is a Cylon after reviewing the tapes of Adama's shooting. Zarek is branded a "terrorist" by the military. There are parallels with the Iraq war - taking over the government is easy - handling the resulting mess is impossible.
Boomer is in the brig too. Her execution, ordered by Tigh, is stayed by acting Commander Gaeta. How many brig cells do they have? They could have some fun if others have to go in the same cell as Boomer. I think the idea of Boxey springing Boomer from the brig is something that could happen, but I can't imagine how to do it without it seeming stupid.

No way...Tigh's wife will manipulate him into a LOT more than merely taking command. Apollo will be in the brig, he pulled a gun on Tigh right? Zarek and Tigh's wife will be plotting up a STORM! I can see it all already.
We'll know in a few weeks if Adama survives or not, so I'll hold uout on speculating on that until the news is in. I see too many possibilities either way.
As for Boomer's baby, somehow I see the child ending up with the Galactica and the Rag Tag fleet, fleeing Baltar (the protector of God's new children!). This will complete Baltar's metamorphosis into a more TOS like Baltar.
As for Roslin, I see her doing a complete backtrack on the Arrow and the prophesy. Once she learns what the Cylons have done down on the surface of Kobol, she'll know for a fact that the Cylons have been using human emotions, instincts and "gut reactions" against them and manipulating them into realizing the Cylon's grand plan...HOWEVER...amazingly to them all I bet anything that the Arrow DOES point to Earth! And if Adama survives, he'll be the one to figure THAT little detail out.

I don't know the military protocol on such things, but Dr. Cottle is way too frakking busy at the moment and for probably the whole first episode of season two.
And what makes you think he is a major? What makes you think he is even military? I mean, maybe you're right, but I want to see the evidence.

So how is Season 2 going to start? Credit roll fades to black The screen gradually lightens, and as the camera pulls back and into focus, we see a spider's web. Right in the middle sits a Spiderr. We get the sense that it is agitated, somehow disbelieving. Not knowing where it is, but knowing that no good will become of it, and wishing it was someplace - some time - else. A beat Out of nowhere, the heel of a military issue boot lands right in the middle of the web, ripping it asunder and crushing the Spiderr instantly. The camera pulls back and cranes up the boot and leg to reveal... Chief Tyrol - "Doctor Baltar, Doctor Baltar, where are you?" |

If adama dies I don't know what I'll do...
Mind you, that's probably what Ronnies thinking in regards to the continuation of the show and so he probably won't die. It leaves too much of a gap that would cripple the main storyline that we have come to love...

You're in a S2 thread- one assumes that you would have seen S1 before venturing into a thread certain to expand on S1 themes..

IMO Apollo, Starbuck, and Hotdog would go on patrol to see if the unidenitfing Battlestar is the Pegasus then they got captured by Captain Sheeba and the clone of Zak Adama who says: Zak Adama : Who are you ? ( and Lee said .) Lee : I'm Captain Lee Adama of the Battlestar Galactica I wish to see the Commander of your ship . Zak: That would be Commander Cain captain Adama .( and Lee was stunned at the name .) Lee: Cain , do you mean The Commander Cain ? Zak : Yes , the same legendary Commander Cain , I'll take you to him I'm Zak Adama . ( then Lee all of a sudden was surpised his broken heart suddenly for awhile mended and said .) Lee : Zak ?, what are you doing here you're supposed to be dead . ( Commander Cain comes to see him . Commander Cain : Like it huh ?, he's a clone with all the memories of Zak Adama childhood memories everything except for the tragic accident though, we even trained him to fly a viper , when the cylons comes on us in dangerous missions I sent him to wipe them out and he does with no hesitation, and that's the difference between the brother you know and the clone he is, by the way speaking of Adama how's that old war dagget father of yours. Lee: He's fine just recovering from haveing a couple of shots in the gut , but he's alright now . Commander Cain : Glad to here it . Lee : I wouldn't tell him about this clone of yours of Zak , because this will remind him of Zak , and would feel the same way I feel right now ok ? Commander Cain : Ok, I'll play it your way , because I don't want to hurt him because I trained it so well to the son that your father would have been proud of don't you think Lee . Lee : Yeah, you trained him real well alright even I can't tell the difference between Zak and the clone . or something along those lines but I will watch the first episode of season 2 anyway to see how RDM is going to do it .
