I'm sure every country has some unique concoctions that are relatively unheard of in other places. In Scotland we have plenty of them ;D. We are after all notorious drinkers

I think i would receive a raised eyebrow if i asked for this in a bar in Glasgow or Edinburgh. It sounds an interesting concoction nonetheless

Wait until you have seen the final episode and then you will understand how difficult it is to wait and wait.....

WOW now thats a big Tumbs up for it ;D Rightly so. I wish some people would just get over their bias of sci-fi and appreciate it as a good drama. Once the boxset comes out I'm going to make some of my friends who don't care for sci-fi watch it.

Was rewatching the mini series... is Boxey the son of the Armistice Station Courier? He is looking over some files, and pictures of his family... and I think the boy was Boxey, but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm? Yes i think he is. Someone mentioned this before and it was confirmed. In my opinion Boxey = annoying child. I say this from watching one of the earlier episodes where he was cheeky to Col. Tigh. Little brat ;D.

Already Sci Fi's most popular series, the second season of "Battlestar Galactica" will premiere in July. KR That's quick! Didn't think we would see season 2 premiering until at least October

Think its an episode for the action fans. I enjoyed it but i thought it was a little rushed and the music was terrible especially at the end

Just wanted to call attention to some of the thread names that have been popping up and to say that there's still some non-downloading US and Aussie fans out here. It's hard sometimes on threads to not throw in an accidental spoiler here and there--i've had to be careful myself--but the names of the threads themselves are killing me. Sorry if i pissed anybody off... No sorry Caseorange. I think for some of us its easy to forget that there are still people watching it and want to be kept spoiler free. I find it difficult when people speculate what might happen further down the line and those of us who knows what happens answers their speculations thus giving away spoliers! Its a catch 22 at times Hopefully we wont have this situation come season 2

Why is everybody so hot for having the pegasus show up? Like most of the old series it was just a dumb set of episodes. Not all of us want the Peagus to show up - i certainly don't but there is still a lot of speculation.

nlinecomputers wrote: Adama's strengths: 1. He fought the networked computers. The strength of the Galactica was her "isolation." It was in essence another weapon. Adama knew that. 2. Under fire, he knew where the arms depot was located, had confidence in his navigator to plot a jump and guide the ship down the mouth of the gas giant 3. His crew seem very loyal to him. 4. He is able to protect the fleet, with half a crew, with his best officers long gone...in otherwords, he gets a lot out of his people. Adama's weaknesses: 1. His is fiercely loyal to people. This is two edged sword. We will see how he handles Tigh and Kara Agreed. That's why i love the character so much. Adama is good at his job but he is far from perfect. Some of his decisions (like the one in ep5) are not rational but make him human like the rest of us. This is what sets the character apart from the likes of Picard (even though i liked Picard as well). I too can't wait to see how he handles the different situations of Kara, Lee and Roslin. I think Adama looks in his late 50s. I noticed in the miniseries Adama's hair appeared to have a lot more grey in it than in the series where is actually looked black. (pointless observations there )

The fact that i found all the episodes really good has been the surprising factor for me. I just hope the quality is maintained in season 2 (cause there better be one or else ). Mini - 8.5 33 - 9.5 Water - 8.5 Bastille Day - 7.5 Act of Contrition - 9 You Can't Go Home Again - 9 Litmus - 7.5 Six Degrees of Separation - 8.5 Flesh and Bone - 9 Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down - 9.5 The Hand of God - 8.5 Colonial Day - 8.5 Kobol's Last Gleaming Pt1 - 9 Kobol's Last Gleaming Pt2 - 9.5

Is there a release date for the Region 1 Version? Would hate to think that the R1 version will be released with more extras than R2. I have known this to happen with other releases.

I hope the set contains extra features. Does anybody have information about this? Hope it doesn't end up being a bare bones release.
I have a feeling that it might include those 'mini' interviews that have been showing on SKY interactive.
I would like to see more comprehensive character bio's included and maybe the actors talking about their characters more. Would love to see Michael Hogan discussing his thoughts on Tigh. I have never seen him in any of the promotional material for the show.
