Do you really think that accounts for the sales record of the mini series DVD as Kingfish is postulating?
I'm not saying that there aren't idiots out there (even in more than double digit numbers) but he is saying that this is why the sales figures for the DVD of the mini are what they are. That's just nonsense IMO and it just raises my ire to think that someone expects any thinking person to swallow that.
I'll repeat again - the exact same could be said for the TOS DVDs too then (and I'll bet you'll never get him to say that!).

Who would be that stupid? My original reply still stands. If anyone is going to cough up the cash for that DVD they would probably have enough interest to know something about the new mini series (there were millions who viewed it on TV after all! Did they all think that they were watching the continuation after it was all done? ). Give me a break! This is nonsense... just ridiculous.  People who are casual fans and don't follow online fandom. |
