Well, whatever the case, no one has been trolling HERE, so let's try to keep issues about other boards & their members off of these boards, which don't have anything to do with the situation.... Sorry, I've been reading these posts in order, and responded likewise. I'll keep my mouth shut from here on out.

We're now at #33. We're exactly 2 spaces below "Resident Evil 2," which also came out today. We've beaten the full-screen version of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban." So begins the first day of sales. Now, as soon as you finish watching the DVD, let the 5 star reviews begin.

I consider people who cheer at the mention of TNS being downloaded on the internet causing ratings dives to be trolls. Moore and Eick admitted that downloading would hurt the show. Downloading is also a crime in countries other then Canada and those that allow it. That is proven fact. I posted several article that backed up my claims.

Well with downloading epsoides and the mini i have to disagree, if you like a show enough to download it and keep it on your computer (after all the mini is one HUGE file) then I think your going to support the show and watch it on TV and/or buy the DVDs. And yes while downloading copyrighted material is a crime it is wayyy out of control and the goverment has to set standards of charging people with it or just contiune to ignore it. Hell i know of a couple of police officers that download stuff. Everyone is doing it.

Basically I said that it was not terribly original (if it was it wouldn't be TOS), and that I'm waiting for the price of the complete series to drop down as low as the first season of Buffy. That's it? And they banned you for that? pfft...

1) You can't troll your own board. BTW - nobody was a troll over there. The rule against speaking negatively against the original series is clear-cut. 2) Your behavior on the BGC was reprehensible - it wasn't just your support of the TNS that caused your getting banned - it was the rest of your behavior that caused it. I would like to remind everyone that there are always two sides to every issue. In this issue we, the members of the BGC, took exception to the way Mustex expressed himself on the other board. Most everyone who actually knows me, knows that I am not, nor have I ever been, a troll. In fact, I am, 99% of the time fairly well behaved. It's when people break the 'bash the original series' rule that I get bent out of shape on the BGC. I can tolerate a certain amount of talk about the TNC on the BGC board but not at the expense of the show that I have supported for ages. Thank you all for listening. And enjoy your dvds. --Rhonda, President, Battlestar Galactica Club Oh.... Could you explain what he said that got him banned. Or was it, how he said what he said? Happy New Year! Tibbetts

We're now #22. This puts us 7 spaces above "Resident Evil 2," which came out on the same day.

I can't believe the price that you guy's (and gal's) keep quoting for TOS on DVD.
Mine only cost €70.00 (well €69.99)

I did not expect them to sell out in one day…did you? If the mini was superior to the original then yes. When os dvds hit the stores you couldn't find them.

If the mini was superior to the original then yes. When os dvds hit the stores you couldn't find them. TOS DVD's came out as a box set and as a collectors Cylon head which is no longer avalable; therefore they were a limited run item. Moreover, stores buy much fewer box sets than they do single DVD movies...but you already knew that. Even when the TOS BSG movie came out it was hard to find because the stores did not order it. I went to Circuit City, Tower Records, Sam Goody and they all said we do not carry that title. I had to get it from Amazon.
