Erm, download the episodes and watch them again? Buy the original series DVD box and tell yourself how bad a "continuation" could have been?

I think season 2 is in the bag. I was a lot more worried about getting a season 1.

Exactly, I don't know why this thread, and the whole "announcement" thing is causing so much of a ruckuss.
Season 2 is a shoe-in, everybody knows that now. The announcement is just a formality, and it'll happen whenever Sci Fi have enough bits of the jigsaw in place to announce it.

My original interest was because it was mentioned that 1st Feb was the decision day. That has now past and even though I am sure that a second series is in the bag it would be nice to know. Anyway the 1st series has long finished in the UK and I have to have something to talk about!

The reason I am nervous (even though I've ceased having conniptions every time I see the topic updated) is because no matter the ratings/reviews, one never completely knows until it's there in black and white (or grey and green, given these board colors). Yeah, I know, paranoid.

Now that Enterprise is cancelled, I'd guess it is more a cert

While it's arguable that Galactica had a large effect on Enterprise's fate, I'm not sure the reverse is true to any great degree. We know as of last week that BSG cast were being tapped up for Season 2, and if that's the case, it has already been internally greenlit. The public announcement is only a matter of time, and it's the Sci Fi channel's timescales, not any of ours.

While it's arguable that Galactica had a large effect on Enterprise's fate, I'm not sure the reverse is true to any great degree. BSG itself did not kill Enterprise but Sci-Fi Friday as a whole certainly helped. Anyway, I am sure that we will here the good news very soon.
