Better spoiler warning, but you should say which episode it's spoilers *for* (i.e., episode 13.) I know this sounds stupid, but it helps. I think you will find examples in this thread where people warned spoilers, but it was about episode 12. Episode 13 has been available on the net for a few days, and in higher resolution than normal and without a station logo. I really wanted to download it, to avoid having you guys spoil it for me. Evil, nasty spoilerses! I'm sorry but MO in this post might sound contraversial but when we are discussing a show that has aired (in a thread about that show) why should we have to post spoilers for it. By the very nature of the thread itself people (from where ever) should realise that there will be posts in it about that episode and ones that have come before it. It's not as if we are going to be discussing flower arranging. Sorry, but I needed a rant this morning.

Right, people shouldn't say "spoiler" when they talk about an episode in the thread for that episode. But they do. This requires the rest of us to be very specific about what we are actually spoiling. Note that... Spoiler test (highlight to reveal):
You can post a spoiler this way.
...then produces this... Spoiler test (highlight to reveal): Maybe the powers that be could make "spoiler" and "/spoiler" UBB codes to do this automatically. (Heh, I had to edit the above, because the Powers That Be are evidently trying to implement the spoiler UBB tag, but what they did so far only caused a mess.) ObBSG: The six souls in the crashing raptor are... Baltar Tyrol Cally Crashdown the-guy-who-got-tossed-in-the-brig-for-Tyrol Mr. Splatterhead(?)

I don't think this qualifies as spoilers, since you shouldn't be reading this thread if you haven't seen part 1.
Anyway,
Did anyone notice the change that comes over Baltar when he's helping Boomer with her decision, and comforting her, in a way that seemed rather un-Baltar-esque. (he seemed genuinely concerned for her, despite knowing she's a cylon). The look on Sixxx's face when he tells her to follow her heart was very significant, I think.
Any comments on that scene?

Yes, I thought the same, though the look between Six and Baltar when they heard the gunshot contradicted it?
Why would he/she want Boomer dead? Fear she might become a rogue Cylon? Fear she might be revealed as a Cylon?
Incidentally, I was very interested that Boomer seemed to "know" it was Kobol - she replied to Crashdown that it was more important than just finding a planet or something like that. I wonder what it meant?

I'm just getting an *uncut* version of this so i'll let you know the differences later Edit: There was nothing edited out, the only differences were no sky one watermark, it played at a slower frame rate and no add break logo, it played straight through, hence 'uncut'

So, anybody notice that in the pre-title teaser when Starbuck is in bed with Baltar, they actually seemed to use Jamie Bamber as the man? No way is that clean haircut James Callis' shaggy mane! They switch him to the scene only when they do the reveal Sneaky bastichs!

They switch him to the scene only when they do the reveal Sneaky bastichs! I thought that the first time I watched it but I'm not 100% convinced it's Jamie in there. I think they just used some clever camera angles because the hair isn't quite right, just the way Starbuck's hand goes up and his head tilts is supposed to make you wonder. I think, anyway. My eyesight has been known to let me down. *walks into wall* Oh...frak...see? ;D

It looks like Lee because that's who Kara wanted it to be Excellent point. Although as an aside, I'm a tad miffed with that plot direction. Bit boooooring and predictable, IMHO. Now a good twist would be that Lee is gay and fancies Baltar himself, THAT'S why he went off on one at her in the hangar bay... ;D

Thought the same thing. All depends how it's handled. With Starbuck being a screw-up, and obviously being played as such, and Lee still struggling to find his own place in the great scheme of things, it's hardly likely to be a smooth road for either of them. If they do go down this path, there's the potential to play out a stuttering, tentative, dysfunctional relationship, which would be nice to watch if done right. Lol, the first time I read that, I thought it said that Baltar fancies himself. Which is, thinking about it, not far from the truth.

Can you imagine the chaos that'd result if James Callis ever fronted up here to answer questions the way AD has?
Poor fellow would be on tranquilisers within days, as, I'd imagine, would anyone trying to keep up with the thread! ;D

Don't start me off on that one! What, precisely, is a boggle when it's at home?! I've had headaches in the past, I've felt dizzy, been confused, felt generally out of sorts, but never once have I had a boggle, nor do I know what one would feel like. Am I missing out on this boggle business, or is my resistance to boggling actually a blessing in disguise? The world deserves an answer, and so do I!
