If this series returns for a second season I'd like to see some flashbacks on the origin of the cylon war. Maybe some older members of the fleet like Tigh, Adama and the ship doctor could reminisce in an episode. We could witness how the cylons evolved from subservient machines to humankind into the lethal foes that started the first cylon war and later obliterated nearly the entire race.
Any other second season wishes?

My wishes:
- The beginning of a story about the Battlestar Pegasus. The Story should begin at the middle of season 2 and should end at the middle of season 3.
- They should show the factory-ship which produces viper Mk2's
- They should show us more rooms an the Galactica (engine-bays, or something like that)

I am too are for flashback type episodes as well on William Adama like how did he get his callsign of Husker, I would like to see some of the fanfic's that are in the Fanfic section of Galactica . TV turned into episodes expecially for the second season that tells alittle more about our charaters , like the fanfic titled Nothing But the Rain I would like to see that one turned into an episode flashback eventhough it was supposed to take place weeks before the Mini-series starts but I still would like to see it as one of the episodes for season 2 atleast or for season 3 if there's going to be a season 3 but I was wondering the episode entitled Battlestars for season 2 isn't that going to be a Pegasus episode ? I was just wondering .

- They should show the factory-ship which produces viper Mk2's There wont be, the MKII's that the galactica has now were scrounged out of salvage yards on Picon. I think at this point, any new vipers added to the show will be Mk VII's. which are very cool in their own right. |

More flashbacks would be good, actually. Fill in some of the backstory, especially the Adama/Tigh Lee/Kara stuff, and maybe a little filler on the President. In fact a REALLY cool thing would be some flashes back to the first Cylon war to maybe give a bigger insight into the thoughts of the veterans like Tigh and the old man.

Ok here it goes .......
Pegasus ......... get it in during season 2 and let the story become a spinoff of the main line warranting a second series 8)
Start some flashbacks about the wars cylon/colonial 40 years ago. mayve also warranting a spinoff
16 episodes instead of 13 ...

All the episodes so far have been excellent, the writing of them stands apart from other shows. It has been apparant however that the budget for CGI and other special effects has been limited (they have been excellent when featured). I thought colonial day was very effects-lite. Hopefully there would be more budget for the next series when they see how well it has done. Hopefully this will show itself as even more special effects. I am sure that if the special effects guys were allowed to go to town it would be brilliant. I hope it does not get to the stage like stargate when they have a flash back episode to fill an hour. They had one on last night in the UK with the chap that plays homer, what a waste of time (apart from the last 5 minutes whem Jack admits he has had barber shop flash backs for 7 years).

the Pegasus storyline but with some sort of major twist to distance itself from TOS.
more exploration of the different colonial cultures. so far the 12 colonies are more like 12 different states from the 1 country (ie. the US).
Sheba/Cassie - but again, presented in a radically different way as a foil for the starbuck/apollo relationship. it would still suit RDM's reimagining to have cassie as a "socialator" on one of the ships and it could show some of the social problems arising in the fleet.
No Count Iblis for the time being...that character has too much of a supernatural bent for a show trying to depict a "realistic" SF storyline.
General wear and tear on the crew and the Galactica itself. one thing (amongst many) i couldn't stand about ST voyager was the fact that because they were a starfleet vessel equipped for long missions it didn't really matter that they were on the other side of the galaxy 'cos they all looked so well groomed and fed.
and of course, more katee sackhoff partial nudity.

They can't produce Viper mk7 because they haven't the ability to build all the High-tech components of the Mk7. It's easier to build a Mk2...
It is an old ship but it fights very good and needn't so much maintanance like the Mk7....
Another Wish:
- seeing William Adama flying a Viper Mk2. The old man in his old Viper...

Am I the only guy who doesn't want to see the Pegasus? Well, let me clarify; it would be cool to see the Pegasus or another battlestar (though I think the ones with the zodiac names are cooler), but I don't want to see the Commander Cain character so much. If they do include Cain, I hope he is as drastically re-imagined as most of the other characters, because as much as I loved it as a kid, there's simply no way I can see that episode today & not have it produce the biggest laughs out of the entire original series for me...every damn time Bridges is on screen, there's one of two things constantly running through my head: "Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue" and I keep waiting for him to turn to Adama and ask "You think you're better than me?". |

I don't want Pegasus to pop out of the ether, either. If the fleet gains a Battlestar, I want to see them build it. No reason they can't figure out a way to build mobile dry-docks in later seasons. One of the coolest draws of the series is seeing if these 47,000+ people can save themselves with nothing but what they started with. |
