1. I don' think that Tigh isn't cut out for command. After all he's the XO, the second in command and as such capable of commanding the ship. 2. As for major battle in Kobol, so the cylons are back in strenght!! Perhaps 2 or more basestars. 3. Roslins is likely to become TNS vissionary like TOS Adama 4. No comment 5. Baltar decides to betray humanity. That's not a surprise, I've seen it coming since his long and fast slide into insanity with the help of Six of course. His descent was complete in Ep 13.

I agree with you that I found odd that security failed to appear.
I though that was a ploy to break Valance: He did make the treat of shipping him to Galactica´s brig, before Kara's retort about airlocks.
Zarek is an anarchyst. He was supposedly trying to bring forth somekind of pseudocommunist society.
Since Valance is a minor character: it's quite possibly that he was a cylon or under the employ of a cylon and Zarek is totally unaware of it.
I took it as somebody who doesn't have his ideas very clear on the threat. It can be because he's not a security officer but a naval officer by training. He doesn't know how to focus the problem.
I liked it. More than "You can't go home"
It gave us a small window in how is the survivors society trying to bring things back to normal. It's been 47 days after the attack, and they have nothing to do, nothing to clean. Although people mourn, in time they will look forward get on with their lives again. This episode was probably meant to show us that the society was going to be rebuilt.
An interesting note is that somehow, ships are becoming very much like city-states. If I remember clearly one of the representatives (the one who proposed Zarek) was complaining that Roslin never did anything for his ship. The Geminon Liner is somehow the new Geminon, etc.

I'll say this without any sarcasm. Paul or Tarsus was the main hunter of christians until his conversion, at that point he changed his name to Paul. Hence Saul = Paul, in a christian way.

Roslin: Dr. Baltar, I've been having very disturbing reports concerning your behavior. Baltar: Reports? Madam president. Roslin: Yes. It seems that you are uh.... How can I say it. ** shudders ** humping the furniture in your lab. Baltar: Humping? that's. ..er....that's not right Roslin: Dr. Baltar, I know for a fact that there are several unattached women aboard the Galactica. Now, if you have problems striking a relationship with them you must know that .... humping the furniture is not going to work. Baltar: ** indignantly ** Madam President. You have a wrong idea. I was not humping the furniture Six: No he was humping me.

Leoben's mission was to be discovered and to place suspicion among the colonial leadership.
That's why he was killed by Roslin. She doesn't believe the accusation, but it's in her memory and she will watch Adama. So Leoben's mission is partly successful.
If Adama is a Cylon, why did Ragnar-Leoben tried to kill him? Ditto, if Roslin is a cylon why did Galactica-Doral tried to undermine her authority?
Leoben's accusation was meant to play in the mind of the characters and in out minds.
Regarding Inner-Six: This episode makes the case for her being a manifestation of Baltar's mental instability stronger. Her lines were almost exactly as if she was reproducing his thoughs. She should have recognized Boomer but didn't.

Minor nitpick: I tough that Ragnar's Leoben body was cremated. Didn't Baltar said that the artifical elements couldn't be identified before it was incinerated?

I believe that everybody is missing something that has been given in this episode: The reason for the cylon rebellion.
The cylons believe themselves to be alive and to have souls. The colonials deny them that. That's why Six's first question to a human is "Are you alive?"
As a selfaware being they probably wanted to be recognized as a living organism and when the denial came thru they decided to rebell. Probably prior to the 1st Cylon War, the status quo was probably very much like the one that existed in the US before the civil rights movement. Only that the cylons were true slaves. Also it's probably that humans were fighting for the cylon's rights (witness Billy's and Kara's belief) right until the first shot was fired.

Since Kara is in the military. It's possible that her records are in the milnet. Said records were accesed by the cylons (via Baltar's Six) and stored for later use.
It's quite possible that Kara got counseling and it was filed with her records.

I'll say this about the ship's security: It's lousy.
It seems that a five year old armed with a popsicle can get into any of the weapons or ammo lockers without trouble.
But, in their behalf: Galactica is a BIG ship and it's UNDERSTAFFED. Also, anybody who wanted to infiltrate will probably keep a watch and learn the guards rutine before attempting anything.

*** MINOR SPOILER ***
In "WATER" we can see a board with the words "BATTLESTAR GROUP 75" right after the "BSG75"
SO BSG = BATTLESTAR GROUP

What six said was "Get down"
If you look at the scene there is a small wall between the windows and the floor. If she pushed him all the way to the floor, it's very possible that the shock wave passed on top of him without much damage since it was being deflected by that small wall.
Six on the other hand was killed/destroyed. That's why he looked so shocked when he saw her among the survivors waiting for the lottery, he probably saw what was left of her body.
