I was wondering why these threads appeared again...but you're right, the show doesn't start for a few days yet.

I'll say it again...for the sake of RDM's casting consistency, Sheba has to be a
MAN!
Bloke!
Dude!

Sheba has to be a dude, though, for consistency's sake.

I was thinking that if we had a commander Cain, then who would we get to be Sheba? Here's my suggestion: (Glen Danzig) Spass

I notice they were running The Lowdown...is this YET ANOTHER version of the Lowdown? It said on the TV guide that it was from 2005.

That was in the lowdown...I guess it's also possible that they have another liason in ep 12 part 1 or part 2?? Or was that the same as the love scene in whichever episode it was in?
Does that make sense?

Were there any extra parts in 33 or Water? I didn't put them side by side, but it kinda seemed like there were scenes I didn't recognize here and there.

The BBFC is worse on films than the FCC is on TV shows. My all time favorite is still The Abyss, where the BBFC required that the rat in the liquid oxygen had to be edited out because of cruelty to animals, even though it was clear that the mouse was alive and breathing. Then there's the editing out of head-butts and the use of Asian weapons.
The new Galactica could easily air at 9pm on a network. There have been more graphic and adult shows, such as the X-Files, for example that aired without incident. And there's nothing worse in the new Galactica than you'll find in the O.C., or just about any sitcom.
On the other hand, I think the writers will be more free to produce what they want without the heightened scrutiny of the networks. Imagine Col. Tigh sitting in his room chugging a Coke, hehe.

I think this new BSG is about the best thing Sci Fi has ever done...their dune series was bad...the earthsea series was nearly unwatchable IMO, have any of their oriiginals made any kind of mark at all? THeir attempts to revive FIrst Wave, G vs E, failed...they at least picked up Andromeda, which I don't think is really that bad.

Yet another thing I noticed...when the Sharon that' arrives at the very end of the mini series says that they're going to find the humans, did you notice that six responds "By Your COmmand"

One more thing I noticed. They talk about cremating Leoben Conoy in that scene with Tigh, Adama, and Baltar (right after the reunion of Lee and his father)
But Leoben's corpse popped up in the 8th EP.
