Whoa! Got scared there for a second when I saw the thread was locked. Good idea to start a new one, though, BR. Now where were we? Pick-ups...coupes...oh, right! Here, under WORMS, cans of! *sound of a can opener* *slight whish of air* *sound of an opened lid being peeled back on a can* *sound of worms escaping* (does that make a sound?! Oh, right, kind of a squish as the worms sort of slop onto the floor or counter top or whatever!) Of all the nerve...! Why I never...! I'll have you know...! And another thing...! That's the last time I'm gonna have words with you about this!

*gasp* Am insulted! Work with children? ICK ICK ICK! Disgusting messy small and tiny, bratty messy messy ick ick ICK!!!! I don't like children... ;D Ha ha. Just you wait. You'll be walking down the street one day, happy as a sandgirl, and then your friend will come the other way, pushchair in hand. Then, without even realising, you'll venture forth a finger to tickle the young 'un's chin, and emit a totally involuntary "goo goo goo" as he/she flashes a babysmile back in your direction. From that point on your maternal hormones will ping into action, and you'll be consumed by a desire to breed. Shorn of all logic or independence, subscribing to Baby Monthly, walking listlessly through Mothercare checking out the latest fashion in Babygros, and wondering if the epidural kills all the pain...

Ugnh. Don't even think about it. And also my quasi-religious devotions make that scenario highly unlikely...I recommend www.vhemt.org as long as you're of a liberal mindset. ;D

Are you trying to convince us or yourself about that? I have head the paternal instinct can be just as strong... Is there something you want to confess?

Lol, if that was going to happen I think it would have done by now. Family and friends have been breeding like rabbits over the last few years, but no effect on me whatsoever. Besides, my GF isn't remotely maternal either, so we keep each other on the straight and narrow, as far as this is concerned anyway.

Children are an overrated experience in my opinion. My life is for me at the moment. I enjoy doing what I want without having another life to rely on me. Saying that, I'm 22 and at Uni so it's not suprising.
My GF also has the maternal instincts of a can of spam.
