Plenty of stuff; yay for all the family Wasabi on DVD Resident Evil: Outbreak Obscure ... what can I say? I likes me some survival horror. I've been playing Project Zero II a lot lately Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre. Not got too far into it yet, but it seems good so far Spider-man 2. Funky Megadrive thing- shaped like an old Megadrive (Sega Genesis for US folks) joypad; plugs into the TV and has 6 games on it including Sonic, Golden Axe and Altered Beast- RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE. Bwa ha haaa! Alex Ross Calendar Smackdown VS Raw for PS2. It has like 5 songs by Powerman 5000 on it that I don't have... and my bro's a dork A really nice bracelet Reise Reise by Rammstein ... oh and Alex Ross is an artist, not like a model or something ¬__¬

My hubby and I went to T.O for three days - first class all the way! Saw a musical stage show, went to the ballet and caught the Second City comedy revue. Had some very fine wine and dinners and did some shopping. ;D I got him the second season of Combat on DVD and a couple of WWI aviation books and he got me a HUGE dictionary for gardeners (I am an avid gardener) and the final season of Frasier on DVD.

The hubster and I exchange only one modest gift each Xmas. It allows us to overindulge our son.
This year, I got the entire Star Trek TOS (all three seasons!) DVD set. Very cool!

Nah, just the regular 2-disc set. Am I missing any cool special features, or just packaging?

It's all kinda nice to look at and stuff. There's like a tiny reprint of an old Spidey comic, a little book comparing storyboards with stills from the movies, a book of pictures by different comic artists and some postcards. Thing is, it's all stuff that's likely to get left in the box and forgotten about, like my Hulk DVD box set; it's got neat little things, and all, but I never look at them... or actually watch the film... damn my insistence on buying the Marvel films! On the plus side, the Hulk box is really cool, shaped like a steel plate with one of the Hulk's fists smashing through it, so I guess that's something

Gift certificates for stores I like to shop at from relatives. Some cooking/baking items, including (and I know this is going to sound weird, but...) a high-end 8 inch chef's knife (see, I told you it sounds a little strange! ) Some neat food items special to Kansas City, Kansas, US - from my sister-in-law (things like Kansas City steak rub and 'Cow pie' chocolate candies!) From Hubby, a DVD of movie "Eurotrip" (total brain candy, which is so what I'm into these days - life is too short!- and makes me laugh everytime I see it! ;D), a new battery for my laptop, a new car stereo tape adaptor for my portable CD player and noise reduction headphones (these will be returned, though, because they didn't work right and I don't really need them except at night when he and sonny-boy go to bed - and then I'll just use his pair, why have 2?) I also got to spend a little bit of time with my family and a long weekend with my husband's family. Lots of good food, fun and drink. VPM

In fact I had a thought (yes, I know it's rare), but with all the talk of food, especially from ViperPilot Momma, would it be a good idea if we started a recipe thread?
I'd love to get the recipe for her Peanut Butter Cake! ;D ;D
