Well, Kobol's Last Gleaming Part 2 is over with, and I have to say it was a bit of anti-climax (at least for the speculation in this thread)
This episode was pretty straight forward, only real surprise from the pics IMHO was that the Helo shot of him holding Starbuck was to keep her from shooting Boomer2.
Adama being shot pretty much went down exactly as the pics indicated (in retrospect, couldn't they have kept those 2 or 3 pics off the web?). I was still surprised how quickly she shot him, he goes to shake her hand and BOOM (er).
Obviously, assuming a second season is greenlighted, the next episode should be a direct continuation of this one. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being two episodes.
There is the added mystery of exactly what 6 was "saying" to Baltar or what they were looking at, but it is obviously pushing forward the "God's plan" storyline.
I'm still thinking on how I feel about this episode. I still expected there to be something else "big" that happened. I think Part 1 was definitely the better of the two. I think the coup storyline was a little forced. Commander Adama really acted on emotion and wasted valuable resources executing it. Lee's action was the best thing that happened in that subplot....
