ALERT !!!!!!This Topic contains masive Spoilers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OK those who saw a particular pic know that Boomer shoots Adama and the Old Man gets heavily wounded. There is also a rumour that in the final episode "Kobols last Gleaming Part2" there will appear a God like being. My Speculation is that the Adama Stroyline isn't the BIG Cliffhanger which was mentoined by some actors of BSG TNS. In my opinion Adama will be cured by his mentoined God like being. I think the Cliffhanger is something other. It could be that somebody of the crew is a Cylon or that Boomer placed a Bomb at the Galactica engines. When the Bomb explode the galactica gets completely destroyed. Or something other in that way

Out of curiosity, am I the only one inclined to think that there could be more to the picture than meets the eye? Roslin was told that Adama was a Cylon, so maybe Boomer's acting on similar info whether for right or for wrong. Or is this probably just wishful thinking because of my Boomer-love? Yes, of course I like people other than Crashdown. And no, I don't just like Boomer because Crashdown's like always with her, I liked her before him.  |

theres been some speculation but I have a hunch a theroy mentioned by someone else will be more likely to prove true
We already know that we find Kobol, unfortunatly so have the Cylons and they have a baseship near, the Galactica is undermanned, and seriously outgunned and low on vipers, what was mentioned, what a better opportunity for the Battlestar Pegasus to show up and save the day.
We already know that 1 Basestar can outmatch a single Battlestar, but 2 Battlestars, that would tip the balance back to the Colonials.
I think at the end of Part 2, all we will see is the Galactica in dire straights with Adama down and a Basestar showing up for a party, next thing we see is another Battlestar jumping into the fray, fade to black run credits, hehehe

Hey all - this is my 1st post ;D I'm hoping for the Pegasus as well (that would also solve the Viper shortage) I'm worries though that the cliffhanger might be to do with Starbuck? has anyone seen the picture of her looking like she's been stabbed?? Cant wait for tonights episode - hopefully will know a bit more!  |

Seen the Starbuck piccies, but I don't think the word worried would apply to any notions that the cliffhangar is to do with her. At least, not in my view.
Unless you're a Starbuck-hater, of course. In which case I'll have to crouch somewhere with my big beating stick and wait for you to come strolling past unawares. ;D

Just where that story goes down the road, that she offloads her compliment of vipers and pilots to the Galactica, would be an interesting story in its own for season 2. I have seen that picture and at first glance, it looks like Starbuck, but after looking closely in the series of pics, yea, looks like Six lays out Starbuck, but a couple of pics later it looks like Starbuck gets her back, and its Six lying on the ground bleeding with the arrow. Still, RDM let it slip that Starbuck went back to Caprica, where also from the pics she , or better, Helo finds her, question is how did she get to Caprica, and now how are they going to get back to the Galactica? |

I hope there are no "God" beings in the cliffhanger, or anything like that. That would be way too Star Trek:TNG. I'm hoping the "God" references that Six uses turns out be a metaphor for something tangible that will make sense when it's "revealed". So far this show has done a pretty good job with the plots having a realistic foundation and I just hope it can keep it up.... I think the Pegasus idea should be saved for next season, however if you look at some of those pictures from the last two episodes, it seems like there are a couple people that are prominently displayed that I don't recognize: www.gateworld.net/galactica/s1/graphics/113_30.shtmlwww.gateworld.net/galactica/s1/graphics/113_33.shtmlAnybody recognize these people from a previous episode? IMO I'd say that they are the same as the red shirted security officer from Star Trek TOS who always manages to get killed by the bad guy. She looks like the same girl who's in the Raptor with Boomer. |

Obviously, you can't trust those pictures too much, especially speculating on them. mattw65, you were right on the money about that character being a red shirt. I just thought I'd add some fuel to speculation about the Pegasus. I think at this point, with so many other plot threads laid out that adding the Pegasus to the mix would just be silly. That's a very interesting story that can be told independent of the whole season buildup to Kobol. After seeing Episode 12, it's now clear that the speculation of how Helo ends up on Kobol was not the right question. It's really how/why Starbuck ends up on Caprica to run into Helo. However, it does make it more likely that Helo thinks Starbuck is a cylon, especially after seeing her land/try to leave in a raider.... The pictures are also now clearly mixed up between episodes 12 and 13. It will be interesting to piece together how many cut scenes there were. At this point, the Boxey scene looks cut for sure (unless that's Boomer2 pointing the gun). Another logical conclusion of those pictures points to Lee possibly figuring out that Tigh's wife had something to do with Colonial Day's events. No pegasus this series as far as I am aware. I emailed EJO a while back to congratualte him etc and asked whether the Pegasus appeared and he didn't recognise the name.
