BR, do you keep up with any of the wicked high traffic boards? How is the ep faring outside of Ragnar Anchorage? Is it getting slammed harder, as hard, or not as hard? xo, S.

During my initial viewing, I was so into it that I was surprised when I heard some folks didn't like this episode. Upon seeing it again, I can understand why a lot of folks didn't like it; it was radically different in tone than the others, and Ellen is an abrasive character, but I still have to give this one high marks. If nothing else, it may have been the most visually appealing episode since the mini for me; I really liked EJO's style behind the camera.

come on, guys.
i can understand someone hating this episode. i certainly HATE mrs. tigh. nevertheless, i happened to really like the episode. i'm also happy that they weren't afraid to experiment a little bit and do something different with this show.
she's intended to irritate the heck out of people, which she does to everyone in the episode. i think we need to see how she fares in a more "straight directed" episode, where the aim is not as much for the awkward humor before making a final decision on her.
i think the show had PLENTY of dramatic tension without adding her, but she will certainly be another source of tension in the show.
i will root for her being spaced at the earliest opportunity, but i think that's what they had in mind when they introduced her.
born to be hated, dying to be loved...

If nothing else, it may have been the most visually appealing episode since the mini for me; I really liked EJO's style behind the camera. No argument from me there. I thought the way he shot all of the scenes with Six was particularly deft. I think that they way she emerges from him and into framed shots makes her much more dreamlike and spooky than just having her be like his invisible bunny. xo S.

like his invisible bunny. That's about your fourth mention of rabbits in the past week! Is there something you want to share with the class? ;D You remind me of Anya, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She could face down demons from hell-dimensions, but was terrified of bunny rabbits...

You're not the first person to say that I remind you of Anya, although you're the first to say so that hasn't heard me speak. Apparently some people think that I talk a lot like her. Some people includes most of the undergraduates in my Spring 2004 class, who got more than their fair share of kicks out of it. I liked the episode where she wears the big pink bunny suit to the Halloween party because they told her to wear a scary costume. I laughed very hard. Also, the first time that she and Xander made sweet, silly love. xo, S.

And very nice they are too. Helps me relive it until I get my tape back from my sadly Sky-deprived friend Nick who relies on my frankly dubious recording abilities for his weekly Galactica fix...

I know we live in a democracy but why would you vote 1/5 for this episode? Me suspects a bit of 'its not TOS so I'm going to throw my teddy out of the pram even if it is good.'
Enjoy it for what it is, not want you want!

Redspine, I voted this one 3/5, I think I was being generous at that.
