I've been lurking around here for a while, but finally decided to join up.
I've been watching the show over here in the UK and am absolutely loving it. For me, though, Six Degrees of Separation has stood head and shoulders above the other episodes.

Hi and Thank You  i'm kind of new to message boards, but i saw the pilot movie on Sci-Fi and i'm hooked! i remember watching the late 70's tv series when i was a kid (showing my age), but this modern version blew me away, so i figured i'd get in on the ground floor of any new discussions. You're web site is very cool and the layout for the message board is clear and understandable. i hope that it, and the Battlestar Galactica series, continue to grow and prosper. So say we all.  |

Thanks again. Is this an overseas site (meaning not North America), because i've noticed some posts concerning situations in the new tv series. i'm in America, and don't want to spoil it for myself or fall behind in some of the subjects.  Is there a way to tell threads that refer to the new series from those that are behind here in the states? |

It's a multi-national site, but looking at the board stats I do think most are from the U.S . Xenu runs the show and I put up pretty pictures ;D

I don't normally join message boards like this but what I have seen this forum is jam packed with intelligent lifeforms, so I joined up.
Congrats on the quality of your site here.
BSG commences sometime in 05 in Australia and hopefully all SF fans and fans of good drama get behind it and it goes to a second (and third ) season. Having only seen the mini so far I am anxious to see the series. The mini was awesome and I hope for more of the same.

Hello,
Think this site is really good. I watched the old show as a kid but I am blown away by how good this new series is. I am normally put off by message boards but this seems like a friendly place to be. I had a bit of trouble finding this site and I hope that like minded people will be able to find it. There seem to be a lot of dyed in the wool old series fans that dont seem to want to give this series a chance. I think that it is going to be massive when it hits America. Anyhoo, hi, and I hope to see you about.
Ps I have took the cylon picture, is this OK or have I stepped on anyones toes?

CH.Ten Aust hasn't announced an air date yet, just that it's coming along with "The 4400". KNowing Ten, they will hold on to it until September and show all 13 ep.s to finish off the ratings year. They most likely wont want to put it up against new shows on other networks. Iwait with growing impatience ..... |

Yea! My first post! ;D A big Hi to everybody! I'm really excited to be a part of the message board on this site. I've been wandering around the boards on the Scifi site and was angered and depressed by turns over the content (and attitudes.) Actually, that's how I found this site. Its fabulous! Job well done and congratulations to everyone who helped get this site off the ground (ditto on keeping it running, too!)
From what I've seen so far (and I've done a wee bit of lurking here, too!) everyone plays real nice together! Its definitely a change from what I saw on the Scifi site. What a breath of fresh air! All involved have done an excellent job making TOSers and TNSers (and hybrids, as I consider myself) feel welcome.
