Good call....just the position that the Cylons would try to install an agent into. Surely she must have some sort of military background or record to achieve that post, though. Then again, there is Boomer....

For the longest time, I was certain that Baltar was a Cylon, or at least had been replaced with one at some point. Now, I don't think so. Of the above, I'd have to say Gaeta is the most likely; after all, someone had to plant the "device" from the Mini-Series.

How about Sergeant Hadrian ..... she was trying to get everybody locked up wasn't she? Waerth If you're referring to Episode 6 "Litmus" I thought Sergeant Hadrian was just doing her job with her independent tribunal. I think what could happen with Hadrian is that it could turn out she just has a grudge against Adama for shutting down the tribunal just when they were getting somewhere. This is also the first major incident where Adama used his "I'm the real boss of everything" act. This could be brought up in the second season in reference to the Presidents lockup.

I think Gaeta is the logical choice for cylon, so obvious, that maybe it will turn out that he's not one, just working for someone else.
I DON'T think it was a coincidence that they zoomed in on that Gaeta/Boomer handshake right before Boomer blew Adama away.
Either it was done to show that he passed off something to Boomer (gun), used the shake as a signal to do what she did, OR it's meant to make the audience THINK he was involved and it turns out he has nothing to do with it. A future episode may focus on him being accused of being a cylon, etc.
I think if Gaeta is a cylon, it will help to cement the fact that the Cylons aren't quite as all powerful and "godlike" as we're led to think we are. Gaeta was basically controlling all the jumps of the fleet, locating Kobol, etc. Gaeta was the one that bailed out Baltar, he was the one that figured out what the cylon "smoke alarms" actually did.
If anyone else turned out to be a cylon, it would be a huge blow to the show. There is much more long term interest in major characters like Tigh, Starbuck, the Adamas, the blossoming relationship of Dee and Billy, etc etc.
Maybe Tyrol could turn out to be a cylon, but otherwise, my money is on Gaeta....

I'm just glad that Commander Adama is not a cylon , because I feel that he never was I guess it was just the alergic rection too the Kalamri Root or Leoben just said it to get them pitted against each other . I was wondering what Husker Du fan means ?I do like the Husker and the fan but does that mean . WHA

I'm just glad that Commander Adama is not a cylon If Commander Adama were a Cylon, and the Cylons felt Boomer's cover was about to be blown anyway, why wouldn't the Cylons order Boomer to shoot Adama with two carefully placed (nonfatal) gut shots? That would tend to clear Adama of suspicion, so the Cylons might do it. I don't think Adama is a Cylon, but that's more because he is a dinosaur, who predates all humanoid Cylons. Also, Adama has not been under much suspicion lately. Hah, you don't even know who or what Husker Du is?! If you're old, then I feel cool. If you're young, then I feel old. It might make for some amusing scenes for her to be sexually aggressive towards Baltar, with Baltar stammering.

What about the presidents Aid, Billy? If you watch the deleted scenes on the Mini you find out that he is new to the secretary's staff. That would mean she wouldn't know what he was supposed to look like. It would be very convienent for the cylons kill the real assistant and replace him because they knew they would be attacking that day anyways so no one would be able to notify the secretary.
It wouldn't suprise me if the cylons would want to keep tabs on one of the presidents secretaries who would be off planet and therefore not cought in the intial ground nuking.
This begs the question why haven't they used him to do somthing malicious. And it strikes me that they seem to have more in their plan then simply exterminating the human race. Maybe they planning on using him to mainipulate/study the government from within. It even fits with his "relationship" with Dee because the cylons seem to be very intrested in fostering intimate relations between themselves and humans (helo-boomer, Baltar-6, Tyrol-Boomer). So if it turned out that Billy was indeed a cylon then most likely Dee, is not (and vise versa).
Just a thought.

Gotta be Gaeta. Check out who he's dancing with in Ep. 11....an underappreciated but important episode IMHO...

We know that the Starbuck/Baltar dance turned into the one night stand, this may very well be a good hint. That and the "handshake" seem like all the "clues" we need about Gaeta.... I don't care much for Colonial Day now. I did however think it had the most satisfying ending of any of the episodes up to that point with Helo's discovery. I think Colonial Day will be much more interesting when Season 2 gets underway. Once we have a better understanding of Zarek's scheming with Ellen, and the "mystery" of who killed Valence (sp?) is resolved I'll have a better appreciation for the episode (assuming it's all done well).
