First off I want to say - YAY on one of the best TV shows on the tube getting a second season!!!
Secondly I want to say that the six episode thing is the first six of the second season that have been written in advance of the renewal. No one ever said that those six episodes were the whole season 2 - the writers usually like to have a certain number done in advance of the actual shooting schedule.
I expect that a full set of episodes will be done soon, now that the final word of the official renewal has been made public. There will probably be a total of 13 (or more perhaps) episodes when all is said and done for Season 2.

I guess congrats are in order here. I tip my hat to you. Why only six episodes though? Any chance of a LL storyline? It is not just six as the article reads they are in negotiations with could indicate RDM or the network want more than 13. I highly doubt they would even bother to renew for six episodes best to let it die if that were the case, I suspect that will get at least 13 or even 22. |

How long is Stargate's season? BSG'll probably be somewhere in that neighborhood for number of episodes. Of course, that's the logic side of me speaking.

Stargate are currently running at 20 but Ron says he wants to do 13 quality eps

YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! *Screams and runs around like someone possessed* Way to go!!! *Ahem* I'll behave now! What can I say that everyone else hasn't? This is just wonderful news... espcially in light of tonight's SG-1 (great episode but one of my favourite characters got written out and I'm a bit bummed  ) but this more than makes up for it. Without causing a flame war or owt... TNS will do what TOS never did... make it to a second series and that is something to celebrate! That and Xenu getting Spider to honour their bet! ;D |
