Who would be that stupid? My original reply still stands. If anyone is going to cough up the cash for that DVD they would probably have enough interest to know something about the new mini series (there were millions who viewed it on TV after all! Did they all think that they were watching the continuation after it was all done? ). Give me a break! This is nonsense... just ridiculous. This might be a good time to bring up this review from amazon:

We're at #21.
BTW, yesterday I got mine at Suncoast (as soon as I finish watching it, and the deleted scenes it gets a five-star review on amazon.com.
I had pre-ordered it, but I did look at the shelf where they had it on display. They always seem to put new items on sale, and it was 19.99. I noticed that a great number seemed to have already been taken, and there were far less left than "Resident Evil: Apocalypse." I also asked the girl how they were doing, and she said they were selling pretty well.

We're now #22. This puts us 7 spaces above "Resident Evil 2," which came out on the same day.

We're now at #33. We're exactly 2 spaces below "Resident Evil 2," which also came out today. We've beaten the full-screen version of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban." So begins the first day of sales. Now, as soon as you finish watching the DVD, let the 5 star reviews begin.

Well, whatever the case, no one has been trolling HERE, so let's try to keep issues about other boards & their members off of these boards, which don't have anything to do with the situation.... Sorry, I've been reading these posts in order, and responded likewise. I'll keep my mouth shut from here on out.

I consider people who cheer at the mention of TNS being downloaded on the internet causing ratings dives to be trolls.

1) You can't troll your own board. BTW - nobody was a troll over there. The rule against speaking negatively against the original series is clear-cut. I never spoke against the original series. If you think it's SUPPOSED to be original then you don't get it. TOS is like an epic poem, it draws on the collective unconscious. Let's see I pointed out that TOS wasn't totally original. I asked if anyone knew where I could get a TNS viper uniform. I posted a polite rebuttal to a TNS flame. I asked about a TOS canon policy, and "War of the Gods." At this point I was moderated. I then made a post with the words "mixed opinion" in it. I should have said "balanced opinion," but I thought my meaning would be obvious. Instead Starship Trooper twisted my meaning to "I try to be fickle just to annoy you, and I hate TOS." At what point did I do anything wrong? Meaning you don't like me because I defended TNS, and would stand for lies being told to bash it (for instance I'd think peak TOS ratings of 65 million would satisfy anyone, instead someone claimed 80 million because they couldn't sleep at night knowing TNS got higher than 5% of the ratings of the original). I never bashed the original series. To be honest, however, sometimes people like you make me almost angry with it...then I watch it and remember that you in no way represent it (I've posted the long version of my anti-BSGC post before, but Xenu decided it was too offensive, and I don't blame him). Learn how to spell it before you bash it. I don't believe that's true, but once again Xenu wouldn't accept the long version.

Did you say something against the original? That may have triggered the "bashing" thing by some of the members. Tibbetts Basically I said that it was not terribly original (if it was it wouldn't be TOS), and that I'm waiting for the price of the complete series to drop down as low as the first season of Buffy.

BTW, that includes Kingfish when he's there, but when he's here or at CF he behaves.

I don't own the site, forums.battlestargalacticaclub.com/that is why I will not answer for the owner. All I will say is Starship Trooper is one of the BEST webmasters on the net. Thumbsup:  Almost everyone on the site, Starship Trooper included, are trolls.

How did he blow it? Disagree with the head honchos? Tibbetts That's pretty much it in a nutshell. I like TNS, so they accused me of making "thinly veiled bashes" of the original show.

Mustex, I have an account at BSGClub.com and will answer as to why the dvd has moved up in the rankings: 1) tos dvds aren't available for sale until the 28th. had they beenI bet they would have sold like hotcakes for Christmas. TNS comes on sale on the 28th to. It WAS a decent remake. So I "blew it" by not sitting down while they told lies about my show, and questioned my loyalty to BSG in general.
