Does that mean we won't be lagging, or we will? Sorry, I don't watch Stargate so that means little to me.

No advance? Okay, I can live with that. It'll save us all busting our fingers typing SPOILERS so often up here. But, uh...are we going to get left behind in the UK? Or are they going to release for Sci-fi and Sky at the same time? Worried now!

Aliens?

Although i remember an interview with EJO who said the moment an alien appears on the show - he's walking. So i don't think Adama and crew will encounter ET just yet. If that's what the great EJO said then our opinions are all irrelevant. There should be no aliens. Commander Adama says so. ;D

26 In my opinion would lose quality. There whould too many filler episodes and weak stories. 20-22 is pushing it to the max before quality starts going down the tube. Hear hear. Then you get clip show episodes, and the 'lighthearted' (read: no-brainer) ones that plagued the later seasons of shows like the X Files. The 'Moore' the merrier (v. good, CylonGod!) indeed, but let's not get carried away and compromise on the quality!

I agree that it is great news , now all RDM has to do is write an episode saying that Commander Adama survived the attempt even though he might act horizontally for a few episodes for a while anyway by that time he might be sporting a beard. Acting horizontally...BWA-HA-HA! You're too funny sometimes, WHA. Great news, KR. Good to know we're not going to have any of our beloved Galacticans sneak out on us. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Also minimising the no-development episodes will spare us that terrible of terrifying TV problems...THE CLIP SHOW EPISODE....and that scares me so much that I am just going to have to leave you here and go run away and hide in a corner just from thinking about it...

The episode ends with Ellen Tigh pulling the plug on Adama. NOOOOOOOO! I take it you're of the Ellen-is-a-Cylon brigade, then? ;D

Uh, Big Brother, historical documents. Your idea might work, but would the average American understand, or would they think "Why and how is the Galactica time travelling?!" I am reminded irresistably of Galaxy Quest...did anyone else ever see that movie? And that in turn gives me a silly image of Edward James Olmos having an argument with Commander Adama...

More flashbacks would be good, actually. Fill in some of the backstory, especially the Adama/Tigh Lee/Kara stuff, and maybe a little filler on the President. In fact a REALLY cool thing would be some flashes back to the first Cylon war to maybe give a bigger insight into the thoughts of the veterans like Tigh and the old man.

I'm a brit but I actually watch alot more US shows than our stuff mainly sci-fi interests me when it comes to episodic tv and well we dont really get that, so i'm more used to shows that have 20+ ep seasons but I think in the case of BSG I'm not so sure about a 20+ ep run if its kept to 13 then season would hopefully have the same pruduction value any maybe if there were more eps there wouldnt be as much money per ep available. Excellent point, Helo. Let's keep the quantity down so the quality, as relates to both writing and CGI/budgetary issues, stays up. ;D

I'm playing The Sims 2 at the moment. Trouble is I spend more time downloading extra objects & clothing than I do actually playing the game. I think all Simlish players have been there. Have you actually found somewhere online producing new objects then? All the download sites I usually meander around are doing clothing and genetics, but not useable gadgets. And the stuff on EA's official site is all too brief a list! My blast-em-up is BSG (DIE CYLONS DIE ) but I prefer hack-em-ups like Drakan or the Lord of the Rings games. Enter the Matrix was good too, although I mainly played that so I could watch the cut scenes and dribble over Lachy Hulme.
