And at the risk of getting shot down in flames, napalm, poisonous fumes and much else, I agree with caseOrange that there's little can beat ST:TOS. MORE WOOD! MORE WOOD!

O.K. Much as I prefer BSG to Star Trek I'm going to have to call you on one thing. . . There's no way Six is hotter than Seven of Nine. Sorry. We need more kindling for the heretics.

Call me a traitor if you will, but i can't agree that BSG TOS was better than Star Trek TOS. Even jokingly. BURN THE HERETIC! Forget burning, this goes beyond any kind of punishment humans have yet concieved of. I'll have to think of something new. Star Trek is techno-babbilized utopianism. I'm not hearing this! I'm not hearing this! How can you have a species of the week, when you have to wait years for the movies? And Star Trek practically INVENTED species of the week.

The T-X didn't have sex with anybody. Kristanna Lokan is hotter than Trisha. ;D Hotter than Trisha defies the laws of physics. I have a mathematical proof buried somewhere in my room, but I'm a teenager, so you know I'll never be able to find it in there. ;D Still, think about it. A blonde, killer robot.

In 5 to 7 years the only thing we will see is Ronnie's show on the big creen. Anybody who believes that in 5 to 7 years we are going to see Richard, Dirk and the rest on the big screen needs to have their head examined. Isn't happening. I'll get my head examined in the morning. Anyway, in response to your earlier comment about Six being based on Seven of Nine: Ever compared her to the T-X? Much closer match. But continuing, here are some responses at spacebattles.com: ;D O.k., he asked for it. Give me some more to put up.

Geez and if Larson makes a feature film Hatch will be tied up with the nu series. Kingfish, even if that did happen, and Hatch wasn't able to shoot between seasons (which he would probably be able to do if they keep the number of episodes low), the worst that could happen would be a 5-7 year delay. Considering the fact that when the new series ends Universal will be screaming about the lost profits that could have been made if Moore did another season just to milk it (which I doubt he will), they'd gladly release anything with the name "Battlestar Galactica" on it. Suddenly the DeSanto script looks more promising than ever. But keep in mind, this only happens if TNS succeeds (and if we accept your belief that they can't co-exist).

I agree with some of the other posters that Six is curious about babies and sees how much strength their necks have. Unfortunately, she goes beyond the limits of her curiosity & kills the infant. But I could see her rationalizing it as an act of God. Or as a mercy killing, considering what was about to happen. It also makes them exactly like humans, as history has proven.

However Six has no humanity in her as demonstrated by the baby killing. If you honestly think humans are incapable of killing babies you don't live in the real world. For that matter, some humans are capable of deriving pleasure from the act, no machine can do that. And this is supposed to be a joke, lighten up.

I put this up at spacebattles.com, and hope to be able to get it in theirjokes section. Thought I'd try it here too.
1. We have debris in space after a battle. Ships do not magically vaporize.
2. Only a character like Starbuck could change from male to female, and become more masculine.
3. We have the single funniest psychotic troll on the internet. Andrew “Dancing Monkey” Fullen (a.k.a. Languatron/Light_Ship/rinky dink/Warm_Scan/Johnny_Diamond…).
4. A major Star Trek staff writer’s first and last names can be reversed to make the word “Mooreron.” Our show’s creator’s first and last name can be reversed to make the word “Mooreron.” (note: For the sake of any non-scifi-fan who, for some moronic reason, came to a site called spacebattles.com: Yes, this is the same person. And no, I have no idea what this has to do with anything)
5. When Star Trek uses techno-babble we’re expected to take it seriously. When we use it it’s either a joke, or someone’s lying (although it took us a full year to get the joke, because it was only revealed on the DVD commentary as such).
6. TNG, DS9, VG, and EP, all needed TOS fan support. We can be hated by much of the original fan base, and still kick butt in the ratings.
7. Six is hotter than Seven of Nine/Diana Troy/Beverly Crusher/Orion Slave girl/…for the following 10 reasons:
7a-7j. (insert any 10 body parts)
8. NO HUMANOID ALIENS! HAIL MOORE!
9. BETTER YET, NO ALIENS PERIOD! LONG LIVE FERMI’S PARADOX!
10. Richard Hatch (need I say more).
11. Kirk was attacked by a giant amoeba and went into a philosophical tangent about the possibility of humans being anti-bodies for the galaxy. Picard was attacked by some immortal anomaly and went into a philosophical tangent about what death really is. Adama was attacked by Cylons, blew a lot of them up, and then made a tactical retreat because he couldn’t win.
12. TOS “Galactica” was better than TOS “Star Trek,” END OF STORY!
13. Richard Hatch again.
14. Starbuck could take Dax easy.
15. You have token black characters. We have token Japanese and Hispanic characters. The Hispanic population is expected to eventually become the majority in this country, and the Japanese will soon take over the global economy, because we’ve entered the post-industrial stage (a.k.a., a fancy government word for a trade deficit).
16. Richard Hatch again.
17. Adama eats noodles. (once again, I have no idea what this has to do with anything)
18. Richard Hatch again.
19. The Borg try to assimilate humans, because their too dumb to invent anything for themselves. The Cylons try to kill humans because their psychotic religious fanatics.
20. YOU GUESSED IT!....Richard Hatch again.

The reserved, brilliant, calculating, myseterious type: Mitch Pileggi Ed Harris Michael Biehn Lance Henrisksen David Morse Andre Braugher If that what you want, make him older and get Patrick Stewart. Then we can all laugh at Lang's reaction. ;D

I am not sure if these rumors are true or not, but can RDM do the Pegasus storyline if Larson has the rights to it? Easy fix. Bonnie Hammer gets the TOSers off her neck by letting Larson do a TOS continuation mini on the Sci-Fi Channel, and in exchange he gives Moore the rights. As I understand it, though, Larson only has the movie rights to Galactica, the series and TV rights are Universal's.

Pegasus, no question, guest star appearence as Cain, Wesley Snipes. No, how about Anthony Stewart...can't remember his last name...well, you know, Giles off Buffy. They team up with the Pegasus to fight one. [quoteInside a new Basestar.[/quote] O.k., but there's no air, so they wear spacesuits. SO SAY WE ALL!! For the humans I'd say more beliefS. I don't want them to have just one.

I want them to run into a renegade band of Cylons who left the Cylon main culture to seek their fortunes elsewhere -- the Cylon puritans, so to speak -- who still look like the old chrome toasters and have the old-model base stars and fly the old-model raiders. By your command! That sounds too much like that episode of ST:TNG where they met independent Borg.

I was just thinking about what I'd like to see in the new series.
1. They meet the Pegasus, but use some kind of relay station to contact it (say it was out trying to find the Cylons, to see if they still posed a threat). Don't just happen to run into it.
2. Gretchen Wilson guest stars, and fights with Sakhoff.
3. Tricia Helfer in a dominatrix outfit (need I say more?).
4. One, single race of non-humanoid aliens. No more. Fermi's Paradox must be considered.
5. Roslin pulls a coup in an attempt to gain de-facto power in addition to de-juro, leading to a civil war.

O.k., when Micheal Hogan (I think it was him) guest starred on "Andromeda," they said "Battlestar Galactica's Micheal Hogan." But what will they say when Hatch's episode comes up. "Battlestar Galactica's Richard Hatch," will confuse everyone who isn't especially familiar with the original series. Maybe "Battlestar Classic's," "The Second Coming's," or "The Great War of Magellan's." Or maybe "Original Seres Star Richard Hatch."
