I played the crappy version called quasar (I think) when I was younger but the place we played it was tiny and the walls were all painted black so youd run up what you thought was an allay and go straight into a brick wall... then of course someone shoots you so a.) your out cold and b.) your out of the game  |

I think Q-zar is the name of the old Laser Tag place ...or at least it was here. I used to work at a liquor store right next door to one, so we would go almost every night after work & almost have the run of the place. Closed down almost 10 years ago I guess.
There is a Lazer Quest here also (at least I think its still here) which is a lot looser & more fun, but its been a while since I've been.
Always wanted to play paintball; never got around to it. Someday....

All the ones that I'm aware of co-exist with bowling alleys. Is there some logic behind that that I'm completely oblivious to? Or is it just that they figured they should stick something else in there because, y'know, bowling is kinda dull?  |

Maybe they put the light diode laser shooters in there so the more violent members of the public aren't tempted to throw the bowling balls at each other. ;D

I used to play Lazer Tag when I was kid. I had a gun and a sensor and so did some friends. We'd play in my yard and it was a blast. I've never played the kind where you go somewhere and pay. If I'm gonna pay I'd rather play paintball.
