What would you perfer if you where in Terri's position? Please explain your choice.
I would choose death if all my brain activity where actually verified as dead (vegatative state) by two different medical doctors.

I just think that they let her go on way too long. It's a tragedy no matter how you look at it. But it's been fifteen years now, if she was going to come out of it she would have by now.

This whole mess just sucks. They've been showing some pictures of Terri before her illness today, and she looks like a lively, pretty girl with her whole life ahead of her. While I actually agree with the courts and her husband, and share in the wish not to left alive in a similar state; seeing those pictures brought home ot me that it was THAT Terri that her family was holding on to. While the medical evidence was pretty clear that the person in those pictures was no longer there, we do cling very strongly to our children. What a shame that it had to end in a circus like this, and that her loved ones are so at odds, and that the politicians used this as a soap box, and that she had to linger like this, and that she had the injury. There's just not one damn thing good about this.
Rest in peace Terri Schiavo.
