Knowledge is a gateway drug.
Once you know about one thing,
You want to know about another thing.
(then you know too much and the FBI comes after you...
then you find out what a 'dirt nap' is)
The RDM Interview List
I enjoyed reading Ron D. Moore(and his DS9 crew's) old interviews.
They went into great detail about a variety of things....
The creative process, the industry, motivations and messages etc.
I followed Ron over to BSG thanks to those interviews.
But, I now realize that it's 'LOCK-DOWN' time.
Since the series is just starting, Ron can't go into any great detail about
his writing techniques/ situation/ dealings etc.
Since there is a defacto 'media blackout'... I figure..
Why not delve into the past?
These interviews can be clues to the future! Not only that, reading them
can also enrich the viewing experience.
You may watch the show from a new perspective.
While Post-BSG Mini-Series interviews are easily accesible,
Ron's old interviews are slowly fading into 'internet backwaters'.
While I can update this post during the holidays,
I hope you RDM supporters get in on the recon too, and suggest
interviews 'with Moore' or 'about Moore'.
Without further ado... enjoy exploring the Ron D-Man's mind...
Great writers think alike?
