Family man that I am, I'm driving a Opel Zafira Comfort 1.6 16 value. It' handy having a seven seater when you've a family totaling 6. Can you still get the "ecotec"motor in that car as an option? I know that GM North America has taken on that motor that has been developed in Europe. Vauxhall , Saab and Opel share some simular motors I believe. I've got the Family transporter going on to. 93 Lumina APV Van. Looks like a dustbuster.. ahh....but were to put my 3 children, surely not in my little red eco-box

I drive a purple, three door, 1995 Hyundai Accent. It's all the car I need.
My husband has one as well (same year, same model except his has airconditioning and no rear wiper and is green in colour).
;D

What's this, the Subaru Owners Club? Must be the sci-fi fan's dream car or something! They must make Subarus a lot better in the UK than in the US. Over here, if you remove the wheels and cut the top off, they make nice garden planters.

Eh? Last time I looked, all Subarus were made in Japan old boy. As for the garden planters thing, that may have applied ten-fifteen years ago, but their product range, build (and image) is a little different now.

Eh? Last time I looked, all Subarus were made in Japan old boy. i meant they are shipping the better ones to the UK. And, sorry, but the only Japanese makes i would buy would be Honda or Toyota. ;D (BTW, a stock 69 Mustang Mach I Cobra does 13.9 in the quarter mile, for anyone interested. Not bad for a 36-year old model).

I don't know if you guys ever see that Overhaul show, But they restored this guys Mach 1 that looked almost like the one in the pic. Beautiful restoration. Infact they shot that episode at the SEMA show in vegas. ( I was there) Almost like heaven.

I watch Overhaulin' sometimes but i HATE the hosts! The girl is useless and should be swinging from a brass pole in the corner somewhere. That smarmy little twit they have that does the phone pranks and thinks he's so clever makes me want to throw things...or tune out. They spend way too much time on the prank crap. They have CHIP FRIGGING FOOSE as the lead designer on the show, and they hardly show anything he's doing cause dumb ass and bimbo have to get their face time! The show would be better if they ditched the prank deal, just had Foose show up and say, "Yeah, you know the piece of crap you've got rusting away over there, I'm gonna change it into a dream machine in a week. You OK with that?" Then spend the rest of the show dealing with the design and build. Now it's 60% prank crap and 40% car related, and that's being generous. What a complete waste of a genius. And as for the displacement discussion, as the saying goes, "There's no substitute for cubic inches." And there's nothing like the sound of a well tuned big block torque monster.

The girl is useless and should be swinging from a brass pole in the corner somewhere. You mean she looks like a parrot? ;D Give me a lightweight, all alloy four/six pot and a turbo any day. What you lose in noise you make up for in handling!

I think that girl is pretty hot. Don't watch the show all that often. I have to agree with Zip. Muscle cars have there place, but put them on a solo track..........oh oh. You see the new Lotis Extige Ziptie? Talk about HP and balance. Best chassis in the world + 400hp + 1900 lbs? hmmmm sounds like a 11 sec track car to me
