Well, we've had threads about pictures, food, favorite beer, living quarters, etc. I think its time to talk about vehicles! It can be about your dream vehicle (on the land, on the sea, in the air, space or whatever); it could be about your current vehicle; it can be about a vehicle you had in the past. Tell us about your 'ride'!
My current vehicle is a wee little Subaru Outback Imprezza Sport. Its sort of a dark forest green, with a very non-exciting fabric interior. Its a four door, with a small amount of cargo space in the rear and has air conditioning, power windows and door locks. And most importantly, all-wheel drive.
"The Roo" replaced a Ford Explorer XLT about a year and a half ago. I hated to give the ol' girl up, but as my mechanic said, "Its time to pick up the radiator cap and drive a new truck under it!" This was 2 weeks after we got my Subaru, and we were hoping to keep the truck another year or two for my husband to drive into the ground. As it is we scraped together some cash so my husband could buy another vehicle. He was very fortunate to find a used Jeep Cherokee that he could buy out right. So far its been good to us, we've only had to fix/replace normal wear items like brakes, radiator, tires, etc.
I do still miss the cargo room that the Explorer had (surprisingly, the Jeep doesn't have much more cargo space than the Subaru does!), a four day mini vacation at Christmas to visit relatives was very tight in "The Roo".
Enough about my vehicles now, "What's your ride?"

Thanks for the photo support, BR! Except for being blue, that's pretty much my car, but without the spoiler thingy on the back hood. And I only have one hubcap left (its silver!)
That reminds me of my first car, a Geo Prizm LS. That car had trouble keeping hubcaps, too. Once my husband and I were on a road trip to visit my parents and we were stopping for a red light at the entrance to a shopping center when one of the hubcaps popped off. While we stopped at the light, the hubcap continued on making the right-hand turn into the shopping center. When the light turned green, we followed the hubcap into the shopping center, I got out of the car to retreive it, and we went on our merry way, laughing for a good couple of minutes afterwards!

What's this, the Subaru Owners Club? Must be the sci-fi fan's dream car or something!
Mine isn't a patch on Blade's MY03 Japanese Import STi, it's merely a 1.3 litre Justy, but it does have rally genes, so the salesman told me.
One day, when I grow up, I hope to own an Impreza. Gorgeous cars. How fast is yours Blade?

The gas mileage sucks, but parking is a breeze! Traffic? Never heard of the word. The road's just a little bumpier when you're driving on top of other cars. But seriously...i'm not posting a picture of my piece of crap, but here's my dream vehicles: For tooling around town... 1969 Mustang Mach 1 Cobra And for hauling stuff or moving... Courtesy of Harold and Maude. ;D

Nice Ride Blade Runner! You going to do anything to it or leave it like everyone elses stock STi J/K Me, I'm a lowly J-body owner. 97 SFGT. Alot of mods - Full exhaust, header, ported head, cams, underdrive pully, intake 60mm TB, ......I'm forgetting some..last dyno was 165whp - High 14's 1/4It's still NA ( no boost or N20) tuned susp. - still need a rear sway. just closing in on 200K origonal motor ( bottom end) I like the car because it's a sleeper, unsupecting baby boomers in their super sport sedans are my prey. ;D "How much was that Comp G? still 15 sec's eh?" I'm looking at the new Cobalt SS 21k USD mid 14 sec compact - can't go wrong with that.

Neat vehicles so far! I especially like the tank! That nifty red car is very pretty, too! Its interesting to me that whenever the subject of mustangs comes up, just about everyone indicates that the 1969 model is their favorite. Alright who's next?

Alrighty then... 1988. My first car. 1968 Camaro RS. Spent my college money on her. Never regretted it for a second. I've yet to find a woman half as purty or faithful as her... Check out those Wayfarers. Alas, I had to let her go live with someone who could take better care of her than I could. I still visit her from time to time. Not pictured: my 1989 Hyundai Excel that I drove literally 'til the wheels fell off. And, slightly pictured on the right: the trusty Isuzu Amigo I've had for the past 12 years that runs just like she came off the lot... ....I tend to hang on to things

I've driven an old bosses Colin Mcrae's Isuzu Impreza, man, that car sticks to the road, you have to be a real moran to get that to go off the road. Jeez even a woman could drive it like a loon

Its interesting to me that whenever the subject of mustangs comes up, just about everyone indicates that the 1969 model is their favorite. '69 was the year that Ford "muscled-up" the Mustang. www.1969stang.com/mustanginfo.htmli'm not a grease monkey, or even a car enthusiast. i don't know the significance of some of the technical jargon; but i do know that this is a powerful car that rides like a dream, and looks pretty bad-ass to boot. i'm also not a Ford-Chevy debater because, Xenu, that is one helluva car you had there with that Camaro. Those are the cool ones, before the 70s when they tried to make them look like Trans-Ams or 'Vettes. (Not that i've got anything against 'Vettes). ;D

We (god/godess) currently have two cars. The first is a 1992 BMW 525i fully loaded and in mint cond. The second in a 1999.5 VW Golft tdi (diesel). I had it converted so it can also run on waste veggie oil that I get from restuarants for free. I will post some pictures when I take some pics of these cars.
