Can we kill the full motion movie?

At the top of the forums is a full motion movie on continuous loop for BSG.

While nice, it really slows down the board response rate. Even at work on a T1 line I have to scroll down so its no longer on my screen.

From home, with 56k dial-up it makes the forums unusable.

Can we ditch it for something that doesn't eat quite so many resources?

To stop the movie, just hit the 'stop' button on your browser; when I'm forced to dail-up surf, I go into my IE options & disable images, that might help ya, too.

That having been said, that was one of BR's 1st animations; maybe his subsequent expertise would allow creation of a less hoggy version?
