Instead of spreading it all out, let's try to concentrate all discussion of tonight's airing under one roof here.

Unless I missed it (been popping back & forth between kitchen and living room where TV & laptop are- gotta get those pesky dishes done ;D ) the dialogue between Boomer and Boxey before the Raptor leaves Caprica, where Boxey talks about his father, seems to be missing.

I agree with you Xenu. If one had not seen the mini, then one actually gets the impression that it's one smooth story. And the destruction of the colonies proceeds at a much faster pace- almost as rapidly as TOS. KR

I Was worried at first when I heard that NBC was going to reair the mini and edit some scence out for time wise. But after watching it last night I was very pleased like most people are saying it seemed to run smoothly along.
Good job NBC now lets get on to the series few more days and counting

From what little I saw, it looked like a good edit.

I watched the entire bit on NBC, and then watched it in two parts on the sci-fi channel. (I tapped both parts from the sci-fi channel ) I am a brand new fan to Battlestar Galactica, I've just been sucked in by the ads and such from the Sci-Fi channel and NBC.

Welcome, Adama. Just curious; as a first-time viewer to both, how did you find the NBC version compared?

I thought they were nearly identical, the NBC version didnt seem to have any issues to me.
