Hey, did anyone save my debate with Lang? He's still claiming he won, I'd like to be able to show the guys at WOF a copy of it, to show how pitiful his use of logic was.

Reading the past posts by this guy at various boards, I don't think its possible to win a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

That was a joke, but in all seriousness, an observation from having therapists in the family is that this Langy guy honestly must be literally unbalanced in some way; at the very least its a type of obsessive fixation not grounded in any type of reality; at worst, he's truly delusional & possibly dangerous, at least to himself, with all the anger that flows from his posts...you can literally hear the tension in his voice.

Repetition of key phrases, a certain aggressive writing style, a narciccistic attitude, and the need to vent endlessly about unfounded conspiracies are not signs of metal wellness...this guy honestly needs professional help, not more TV.

I'm not sure. After looking at his posts, responding to some, reading his repetition etc., I tend to sway towards the view that he was simply out to upset, offend and annoy - and that he didn't necessarily actually support all the views he posted. As such, the persona he represented through his various guises (Lang, L_S, J_D, etc.), were merely a public front, nothing more.

Does this make him unbalanced? No. Does it make him a sad bulletin board hugger? Yes.

Anyway, he's gone from Sci-Fi and hopefully we'll not see his like here.!

No, I assure you they are not. While Spider thinks alot of us work for Universal, he at least acknowledges the EXISTENCE of TNS fans (sort of like how scientists acknowledge the existence of wormholes...or some of them do anyway). Also, he doesn't sume everything up to "Universal kicksbacks", and he has some sources to cite (although it's only indicates that there MIGHT be SOME Stealth Marketers at work, which even I'll admit).

I occasionally get the feeling Spider just sees it all as a big joke. And in all fairness it is quite amusing, and he never gets perosnally offensive to anyone.

He's just different, somthing that should be applauded.

The lone nut theory is the one that best explains the observations about Lang.

After reading all the posts about this Lang person, i decided to check out his message board. Now i understand. He's the only one allowed on his board so no one can disagree with him?! He sounds like a very lonely person (although this doesn't excuse him from what he posts).

That's him. He joined & made 1 post, which was a slanderous diatribe against Aaron Douglas that contained some really offensive language, so he got banned immidiately. Oh, and then we all got accused of being Universal executives on his site ;D
