Our source at Fleets has posted the overnights. Adjusted ratings I suppose are released on Wed. These usually get adjusted down a bit, but seem encouraging that the audience is holding stable. My understanding is that these are the average ratings of the top 40 US media markets, probably from this list: www.nielsenmedia.com/DMAs.htmlSo, from Onenil; Seems that the chart might need to be updated Wed if it is adjusted down. Someone was wanting some share data, and it appears on the table. Things seem to be holding with around 2 million US homes tuning in.

My source had informed me the overnights were flat once again- mid 2s. This would confirm what was reported at BSGFleets. KR

What I find interesting is that the one reporting this over at fleets indicated the 2.2 was an aberration. I would like to know what that means. I did query my Sci-Fi source today. He did tell me that the show generated a final rating of 2.53HHR, which equals 2.9 million viewers. KR

If the final for Six Degrees really was a 2.2, then it's an outlier and my guess is that was due to the holiday weekend. The aberration comment is probably correct. If it was really a 2.53, then the source over at fleets probably just had bad information. I remember seeing the viewership figures (not the actual rating) for BSG on Sky and they dropped quite a bit from the premiere and didn't pick up again until about The Hand of God. Its performance here in the U.S. is much stronger and much more consistent. That's a really good thing. From what I've seen, it's pretty common for a show's rating to dip a bit throughout a season and only pick up during sweeps periods. Sweeps doesn't really apply here, but I think it's unusual for a show's ratings to stay this high (relatively speaking) and this consistent. I expect them to go even higher for Hand of God and for Kobol's Last Gleaming pts. 1 & 2. I'm sure Sci-Fi Channel is ecstatic over these ratings and we should be, too.

Someone observed that ratings are greatly influenced by how good the previous week's episode was.
If "Litmus" bored the masses, then "Six" would have gotten lower ratings. Though "Six Degrees" is one of my favs.
Many might not like the less "action packed" Tigh Me Up, or Colonial Days. But even some that don't like the show recommend HoG, and the 2 parts of KLG.

Our source at Fleets has posted the overnights. Adjusted ratings I suppose are released on Wed. As I mentioned in another thread, I decided to set up a webpage to keep track of the ratings: www.astro.cornell.edu/~springob/bsgratings.htmlLooks like this source is getting the ratings 2 weeks before they're posted by Sci Fi Wire. Are they posted on any public forum other than this board?
