What I'm getting at here is that J. Michael Straczynski was the first man to ever write a full season of a T.V. show. Should Moore do likewise? I say yes, but in a season with less episodes.

That's a whole lotta stuff for one writer to hold together & keep fresh. For example's sake, I was asked to write the bulk (10 out of 13) of episodes of the show we're producing right now, and I asked if I could cut that number in half, just because I want to make sure I'm churning out quality over quantity.
I'm sure there are folks who could pull it off (like JMS), but its a bigger job than it sounds; my hats off to anyone who does.

Joe Straczynski decided to withdraw his bid to revitalise the 'Star Trek' franchise when all he can hear on the other end of the conference call is laughter. ;D

JMS revitalizing Star Trek would be better than the last three series given to us by Gene's successors.

Have to disagree only in that I loved Deep Space Nine. Voyager was trite crap and Enterprise had promise but no delivery. DS9 however was the grittiest Trek has ever gotten..

^-- makes my point. Bab5 was still better than all of DS9 I've seen about 2 minutes of one episode of B5. I have to see more eventually, everyone seems to love it.
