Ooooh. Nice spot, LeeAdama. I'll head on over there as soon as I'm back on a PC that lets me play multimedia files.

So, the infamous picture (Roslin's, pilots') is from this Cylon war, not the previous, and it shows the capital of Airlon. Airlon isn't one of the 12 colonies, unless perhaps it corresponds to Ariana. Did we see or hear either name in Colonial Day? Can anyone clear up my confusion?
Tyrol says that no human could survive the pressure in the water tank. I'm glad they cut that out! I don't want the humanoid Cylons to be that different from humans.

"However, I'll tell you that we're going to get into that as the series goes on. That nuclear hit will come back to haunt them later; there will be consequences to what happened to the ship structurally when it took that hit." Ron Moore, 4/2/2004 in an interview with Robert Falconer
Now, check out the deleted scene for Water ...
Baltar's talking about shockwaves from multiple simultaneous explosions and addsas an additional factor "the structural damage sustained to the hull during the last nuclear explosion".
Alas, it's on the cutting floor, along with all those Boxey scenes from Water.

My quicktime keeps telling me that no updates are available. My Netscape tells me I need a plug-in but won't download any. My Internet Explorer brings up the audio but not the video. WTFrack?

Try going to the QuickTime site www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ and installing it again. I also highly recommend using the Firefox web browser. It makes it very easy to save the files to your hard drive and play them from there. You can get Firefox here: www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/central.html

Thanks for the tip LeeAdama! I surely would have missed them because I don't wander over to the Sci-fi site pretty much at all any more.
Always cool to see deleted scenes.

You can used Quicktime Alternative so you dont have to install the whole crappy thing. Same with Real Alternative instead of real one player IMO they are both much preferable than the junk filled originals
