I've been rewatching the mini...I think there's a few good foreshadowing items in it. I suggest people re-watch.
The funny thing was when Gaeta says they're in an orbit around Ragnar Anchorage, and the first thought that went through my head was "they're orbiting that fan forum?"
Hehe.

Spass Got to say, this is the first series since good old Babylon 5 where watching eps back-to-back can reveal things previously overlooked. It's not as extensive as in the case of B5, but the hints and pointers are there.

This New Galactica has more foreshadowing then most series, but to get the level of interwoven story lines of Babylon 5 would almost be impossible. Especially with so many networks pulling the trigger on shows so quickly, and not giving them time to develop a strong fan base. However, I think the mini- hasn't gotten the credit it deserves because of the complaints of hardcore TOS fans who wouldn't accept anything that wasn't what they wanted.

Do you really think that the fan base of the old series has that much clout? I think the new series is so fantastic, it will get better word of mouth in the long run and be fine. I rewatched the old series recently and though some of it made me smile, it really doesn't compare.

;D Guess I'm one of the many that has very few words but love to read all the messages left here. Once in a while I read something that makes me want to kickin with my 2 cents Guess I'm part of the silent majority too. I too love to watch the old BG Series. I agree that the new one is much better, the effects, the acting, and the writing of the stories. It's 2004 almost 05, it has to be better to get those all so valueable ratings.... rating is almost everything now days, without them it will never last. Maybe that was the doom of the first one...?? So far this one has a shot, its on the SciFi Network in January.... I just hope they get the rates and keep it going for a long time.

One more thing I noticed. They talk about cremating Leoben Conoy in that scene with Tigh, Adama, and Baltar (right after the reunion of Lee and his father)
But Leoben's corpse popped up in the 8th EP.

Yet another thing I noticed...when the Sharon that' arrives at the very end of the mini series says that they're going to find the humans, did you notice that six responds "By Your COmmand"

So does that mean that *that* particular Boomer is in command somehow? Spass I think it was for dramatic effect and a homage to TOS Click:- By your command

have the new models even said anything? The new-series mechanical Cylons don't seem to talk. "Maybe they're just shy?"
