While I am no longer deeply concerned that the show will have any difficulty hitting its ratings mark, I have to ask/suggest the following.
TiVo- doesn't it have a ratings collection system?
As well as all the addressable cable set-top boxes?
Someone mentioned elsewhere the "recommend TiVo" forum.
This would contribute to a positive ratings data collection, and is not subject to the guesswork of trying to figure out if letter writers represent 10,000 viewers that didn't write, and such statistical vagueness.
I have seen a lot of discussion of the show outside of fan fora. Even a Titans fanboard had a short thread about the new show.
