With all the crap that hit the fan with the whole downloading thing, it could be that we get it at the same time as the US does, when season 2 airs.

And the "when" seems to be looking quite good at the moment. (Keep them fingers crossed).

To the best of my knowledge there are no areas of mainland US that is not affected by one of the four.

It also means I was right about the cylons manipulating events right from the start. They let the galactica survive and delivered the raider right into starbucks hands in order to fetch the arrow. Seems the Cylons are quite keen on being led to earth for some reason.

clever clue bit:
every 'act of god' has had cylon manipulation behind it - and just before Thrace found the raider she prays for help - a tip off by the writers.

HELLO, NEW POSTER BUT HATE THE TOASTERS. I ENJOYED TONIGHT'S SHOW IMMENSELY, ACTUALLY IT BLEW ME AWAY RIGHT FROM THE START. RON MOORE IS DOING AN EXCELLENT JOB, THIS IS THE BEST THING SINCE B5 IN ITS OWN SPECIAL WAY! THIS SERIES IS GREAT 'COS IT'S THE ANTITHESIS OF STAR TREK. FOR YEARS I HAVE BEEN FRUSTRATED BY PATHETIC ATTEMPTS AT SCI FI BUT I'M GLAD MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED. THIS SHOW BETTER BE RENIEWED OR ELSE TV EXECS THE WORLD OVER SHOULD BE KILLED FOR BEING OVERPAID BUFFOONS.

I THINK THE TWIST WITH STARBUCK GOING TO CAPRICA WAS WELL EXECUTED AND IT LOOKS LIKE SHE'LL MEET UP WITH THAT POOR CHAP HELO NEXT WEEK. i HOPE THERE'S ENOUGH ROOM FOR HIM ON THE RAIDER BECAUSE HE'S BEEN THROUGH A HELL OF A LOT TO BE KILLED OFF IN THE FINALE. IF THEY ARE GOING TO KILL HIM OFF IT BETTER NOT BE IN SOME STAR TREK STYLE SHOOTOUT WHERE HE DIVES IN FRONT OF STARBUCK IN SLO-MO TAKING A BULLET ALL HEROIC STYLE SO THAT SHE CAN MAKE IT BACK TO THE RAIDER WITH THE ARROW.

IT WOULD BE NICE IF BOOMER 2 COULD BE SAVED TOO, IF SHE COULD FIT. I WONDER TO WHAT EXTENT IS SHE WOUNDED? HAS SHE LOST THE BABY? SHE DEFINITELY HAS OVERCOME HER PROGRAMMING UNLIKE GALACTICA BOOMER AND IN A STRANGE TWIST COULD BE SPARED. AS FOR THE GALACICA MODEL, I THINK HER ROLE IN TONIGHT'S EPISODE WAS VERY SAD. THE SCENE WITH THE CHIEF WAS REMINISCENT OF SOMEONE UNABLE TO LIVE AFTER BEING FORSAKEN BY THEIR LOVER AND WAS QUITE TOUCHING. HER CHARACTER WILL BE PHYSICALLY SCARRED FOR LIFE IF SHE IS ALLOWED TO LIVE AFTER WHAT SHE IS GOING TO DO UNLESS HER CYLCON SIDE KICKS IN AND HEALS THE WOUNDS MIRACULOUSLY. LOOKS LIKE SHE'LL BE TORTURE SUBJECT FOR NEXT SEASON IF SHE'S STILL IN CUSTODY.

MOVIN' ON, THE FIREFIGHT ABOVE CAPRICA WAS THRILLING INCLUDING CRASHDOWN FINALLY GETTING A CHANCE TO FLY THE RAPTOR! THE CRACKING GLASS WAS A GREAT TOUCH, AS FOR THE CRASH, THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SPECIAL EFFETS CRASHS I'VE EVER SCENE.

I MUST ADD ALSO THAT I THINK LT. GAETA IS A CYLON AGENT AFTER EVIDENCE FROM TONIGHT'S EPISODE. HE HAS BEEN THE ONE WHO HAS BEEN GIVING OUT JUMP CO ORDINATES THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SEASON. ISN'T IT A BIT STRANGE THAT BOOMER'S RAPTOR JUMPED SPLAP BANG RIGHT IN FRONT OF KOBOL. WHO'S TO SAY THAT HE HAS BEEN GIVING THE NAVIGATORS CYLON DATA RATHER THAN COLONEL TIGH'S ALL ALONG? IF YOU LOOK AT THE COMMAND STRUCTURE IT IS HE WHO IS THE LAST OFFICER TO PASS DATA ONTO THE ENLISTED PERSONNEL IN THE CONTOL ROOM. HE ALSO SEEMS TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT THE CYCLON SMOKE ALARM BUGS. HIS EXPOSITION IS SIMILARTO BOOMER'S SCENE WITH THE CHIEF FROM AN EARLIER EPISODE IN WHICH SHE DESCRIBES. THE CAPTURED RAIDERS ROLE. I'LL ADD THIS IN ANOTHER THREAD IF THIS IS THE WRONG PLACE TO DEBATE.

Yes but Six actually thinks that Baltar is in love with Starbuck.

I'd guess that Boomer really tried to kill herself (after being told by Mr Nice Gaius that it was OK to do so) but her Cylon programming took over and moved her hand at the last second.

I think it's fairly certain now that the Six in Baltars head is real and not just in his mind, the way she was talking about Boomer being a weak model ties in with the Six on caprica views on Boomer.

Anyway, probably the best episode yet.

Methinks it is a time thing. Most US "hour length" shows are around 43-44 minutes in length, the rest of the hour being commercials.

Sky's airings are averaging 42 minutes. This one was 41 minutes 53 seconds (onto DVD, sans adverts).

It would have been nice to know about the investigations into the Cylon device sooner - if memory serves it's the first time it's even been mentioned since the Mini.

Make sure Sky know. Watch the re-runs. Watch Sky One Mix when it is on. If they realise they have a top-10 show they invested in, then they'll consider going with it again should Sci-Fi indicate a renewal is on the cards.
