Okay, here's the deal. Since there's no way to host a NotePad file on MessageBoards, I got some friends who have agreed to manually distribute the transcripts via e-mail.

I'm nowhere near this place from Friday to Monday.

I've got my 'editor' (more like spell checker) handling distribution. My fellow Panther, NaughtyByNature, will be fulfilling e-mail requests for Mini-Series Transcripts.

I'm working on a Battlestar Galactica FAQ/Episode Guide site anyways (greatly hampered in this quest by a USA residence and a conscience about illegal downloads), so a transcript of the miniseries would be a wonderous addition in any case. Naturally I'll give you credit on the site for transcribing it (and thus of course also be able to deflect blame for any innaccuracies to you as well, heh heh!)

My email and the URL of the site (nothing there yet, some much better pages nearly complete and awaiting uploading) are in my profile. I'd have something there but I unexpectedly got hired as a substitute teacher for three days this week and haven't been able to spend all day writing HTML code as I had planned.

Or likely the owners of this site would like to host it in their downloads section. As it's your transcription, feel free to lend it to as many or as few sites as you wish.

Coolness. We had a bad storm last night here in Chicago, and my DSL and phone line went out on me overnight. It's back now, but tonight will be mostly taken up by watching, taping, then re-watching the US premiere of the first two episodes. But immediately after that, I plan to be back upstairs and uploading content to my website at last, so sometime before Saturday night it should be up on my site in HTML.

I decided to do it because the mini contains the starting points of all future story-lines.

The problem however, was that the mini was so fast-paced and packed, that it was hard to remember the important points.

For example, you could watch the exchanges between Number 6 and Baltar one night, but forget it all overnight. Then you'd have to watch it over and over again.

That's a bitch. Instead, Just 'ctrl F' on the notepad file, and find the important dialogue that you want... and voila!.
