They spent all day during the Galactica 1980 marathon promoting it. ;D

Question is, are they promoting it on any OTHER networks? The Second Question is, are any Sci-Fi geeks watching any OTHER networks? ;D Obvious places to advertise this would be during other sci-fi shows like Enterprise and Andromeda (in syndication), the TNG and DS9 showings on TNN, and so forth.

I think NBC promoting it on their own network makes sense (and really that was what the three hour version airing of the mini series was - a promo for the Sci-Fi Channel show), but I don't think I would expect it to be promoted on other networks (as far as I know networks don't usually put advertizing $$$ into the coffers of competition networks). It seems that they have targeted science fiction markets in their advertizing campaign (which makes sense), but are also garnering a fair bit of general publicity in order to draw in people not normally attracted to the sci-fi genre (they obviously want to broaden the appeal and catch people generally interested in "dramas" as well). By the actual structural nature of the show, the campaign seems like a good fit - advertizing-wise and hopefully they get the audience they are seeking. ;D
