Poor Dr Baltar  . I think he is quite pleasing on the eyes (and no i don't have a visual impairment). Although i think i would get tired of asking "Are you with me?" all the time. |

Sorry - I keep looking at him and thinking... 'E's that doctor from Deep Sleep Nine!' (Sorry about that - I'm originally from London and have a terrible habit of dropping my aiches!  ) and no I didn't find Dr Bashir attractive... which was weird! Hey, I'm new here, but I LOVE BSG! And I'm a shipper too; with so many cute guys on the Galactica, how could you not be?  !!! My 'ships' ***some spoilers*** Helo/Boomer (from Caprica) - These two are going to have a baby, plus Helo was in love with her anyway, before he knew she was a cylon, so I think these two will be together. They should be. Tyrol/Cally Yes, I know that he's her superior officer and what not,but I really think these two would be good together. It's obvious to me she likes him, and now that Galactica Boomer has gone psycho and her fate is questionable, that leaves Tyrol single. I think it's a good match OR POSSIBLY Apollo/Cally This is weird, I know, but if you're going to hook him up with anyone BUT Starbuck, Cally seems to be the most level headed girl on the Galactica (except for Dee, but she's taken) who could probably deal with all of his issues. She's a mechanic for frak's sake, so she must be a little tougher than your average gal. Roslin/Cmdr. Adama They're the same age...it's only natural. Pairing her with Apollo would be wrong..he's too damn hot to be paired with someone who could be his mom. Besides, give the old man some action, he probably needs it. Apollo/Starbuck It's only natural. They have a thing for each other, so let's see where that takes us. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing these two together, but not for good. Apollo/Nameless other character I think TPTB should hook Apollo up with someone else permanently, but let him and Starbuck get it out of their systems for a few seasons. I don't think that Starbuck is the type of woman that would make Apollo happy in the long run. He needs a woman who likes to be a woman, besides her day job. I don't see him being with a woman who smokes cigars, plays poker and sleeps around for longer than a fling. He would be much better off with a woman in politics, but NOT Roslin. Maybe a new character yet to be introduced who works in politics??? Baltar/Baltar I don't really think that Baltar can be happy with anyone but himself and besides, he's frakking nuts! |

I have to agree completely with the above shipps excellent. but we are forgetting Zarek/Tigh/Ellen, great shipp. Yes Baltar is a Wingnut and probably proud he is a strange rangerl................ doesnt do anything for me either. As to Deep Sleep Nine its aply named such nice one.......... Julian BAshier (zzzzzzzz) bored the pants off me................... so did Jadzia Dax the only remotly entertaining characters on that were Worf (TNG import) Kira and Quark.. the rest just gave me a case of gas................ "Did someone say Marcus Cole, huba huba nice guy not bad now he didn't irritate me didnt like the way they got rid of him.......... and when tracey scoggins replaced claudia christian on the show be it playing a different character i lost interest in the show................. Adama/Roslin would definitly be a nice shipp i agree with the wisdom of the person who said he was in need af one "even santa comes once a year" (joke). Apollo/Roslin is growing on me though I think it might not work well and besides kara would be devestated (see KLG part One), she loves him. I suppose the argument could be raised that laura would teach him a few new tricks, but eventually Apollo is going to want kids and Laura Roslin is no idiot she would know this and probably even if she did care about him romantically she would walk away from it........ Besides I think she fancies Adama yep in the pilot (re-watched it) when he makes his decommissioning speech which is an interesting speech i might add. she is the first to clap everyone else follows suit.......... boys and girls when you all see "Colonial Day" episode 1.11 you will all understand why I say there is definite chemistry between these two characters. There's a really cool scene which totally appealed to me as a Roslin/Adama shipper totally wiped me out............... I ;think the tigh/Zarek/ellen thing is interesting its doable since she has shagged half the fleet why the hell not. Tom ZArek was certainly interested in her when he was introducted to her definite partiality on his part. Now in all honesty though id not like to be a fly on the wall in that bedroom i cant even begin what those 3 would talk about and I certainly would nt like to be witness to what they would be doing if they were not talking........... kara/apollo match made in heaven brilliant she fancies/loves the pants off him he cares about and fancies the pants off her (Colonial Day watch if youll see). Boomer/Tyrel/Helo no go area for her with either of these guys as helo knows she's a cylon and so does tyrol life sucks......... poor shaz............ six/six great match........... baltar just gets in the way... Baltar will be stuck with pam and her five sisters i wouldn't touch him "Julian Bashier" the second coming, pardon my expression.................. If she is responsible then she is a Cylon and things onboard Galactica just go seriously Frakked. with the commander shot roslin in Jail oh yea apollo in jail and Starbuck probably going to be when she gets back from Caprica........... so let me recap here adama shot ok poor bastard boomer needs a kick in the head for that one i love adama disloyal cylon the pregnant shaz maybe she will be less treacherous given she is about to have a human baby maybe her loyalties will change somewhat........ok then you got roslin, apollo, and starbuck in jail gee will they trade barbs through their cell bars interesting........ season 2 will prove to be very interesting indeed. i will be interested to see how adama/roslin will fair how much damage they will do to each other when he recovers from being shot by boomer. Zarek being a bad boy sees her nastyness and is attracted to it of course i doubt he knows she is a cylon at least not yet. I reckon they will get it on eventually. I think that Zarek will make an attempt on Laura's life in season 2, he wont succeed but it will make for interesting viewing. Baltar god bless his cotton socks what an idiot he really is a sad git but there is something likeable about him wouldnt shag him if he got down on both knees and begged for it......................not my type, he's got the puppy dog need to be cuddled thing going for him and whilst i love dogs i prefer my men to be men which is why i like adama. there's no Bull Shit with that man he will tell you straight up no sugar and i like that always did that kind of honesty is refreshing and with so many people frakking about you gotta have a bit of honesty. I won't even get started on any other plot lines that could happen I will say however that Season 2 is gonna kick arse, im not a frakking telepath ok just know a good thing when i see it............. Well, you're a girl. As I guy, I can understand it. He meets a woman who is a fellow alcoholic, so she accepts this about him. And women who drink every day tend to want sex every day. True acceptance and sex every day... these are the two keys to a man's heart. Women change once they are married - and men stay the same, but women expect them to change and are disappointed. Out of disappointment, insecurity, boredom, self-abuse, and/or lack of respect, Tigh's wife started fracking half the fleet, and they rarely saw each other after that. |

Not all women expect there man to change after marriage................. just some who are a little nieve and havn't bothered to get to know the man they are marrying. My opinion on the subject is "if you want to know me come and live with me", Now days thank god thats the norm and thus most people know each other fairly well prior to marriage............................ as to mrs tigh i would say she was cheating on Saul long before they were married and probably on the last fellow she was with before him........................ i think she has a very short attention span ......... im laying odds on her being a cylon which will hopefully come out next season.

Don't think Tigh and Ellen's marriage is based on mutual love by any means. For Tigh it is but I think Ellen has her own agenda. Without going into spolier territory i think this becomes apparent in later episodes through her discussions with other characters. Sorry AmandaC - didn't know there was a ringtone for the Old BSG never mind the new one. Good luck in tracking it down  |
