I feel the whole religious element of the Cylons will be more fully explored once we discover more about where they've been since their original conflict. Perhaps they've become allied to an outside civilisation during their absence, a civilisation with a strong belief in a single deity. That belief would be in contrast to the colonials religion and perhaps the Cylons saw a natural ally. Could this be a possible explanation for the development of human-form Cylons, assistance/instruction from another race?
Back to the episode, I think it was Shelly Godfrey who wrote the message in Boomer's locker. Possibly an activation message for the 'sleeper' Cylon? (Not exactly subtle I know but it kinda makes sense).

Lt Gaeta got a mark by his name in the possible cylon list...
A little too convenient that as soon as #sex got what she wanted he shows up with the photo exhonorating Baltar.

Anybody have an idea why the Cylon Raider worked for Starbuck, but not for Chief Tyrol? I mean an idea besides "Starbuck's a Cylon". ;D

Anybody have an idea why the Cylon Raider worked for Starbuck, but not for Chief Tyrol? I mean an idea besides "Starbuck's a Cylon". ;D Feminine intuition? But seriously - from the time when she found it to the second go in the hanger deck, it seems like biological instincts just took over. I don't know anything about whether or not starfighters have pedals the way airplanes do, but maybe the fact that she kept finding that one thing with her foot has to do with the way her body behaves when it's in "I'm going to fly this" mode. Tyrol wouldn't have that, he's a mechanic, not a pilot. Whether it's a coincidence that the starter thingy is right where her foot finds a place to groove is either a) happy coincidence or b) a design artifact resulting from hominid-centric parameters inadvertently embedded in Cylon psychology revealing themselves in engineering hermeneutics. Or something like that. Or else it really is hot kinky cyborg lesbian sex, like Tyrol implies in the last episode.

Well I think it was the best episode yet. It went very deep into sexism, racism and schizofrenia. At the same time it was all about relationships and trust and the thing we call 'human instinct'. Very interesting indeed.
I really like the way the show is progressing, also the camera movement and filmatographic intensity has found it's right tension. I hope when we get to an 'action' episode, it won't be all about shaking the cam again Wink I mean whilst in the middle o f the most exciting space-dogfight situation, the most brutal element is still the deep and overly calm space... I hope the people behind the fight-scenes would trust that fact more. Make it cold, dark merciless as it is, instead of 'actionpacked hollywood mayhem'. You know you can do it!..
Also I believe that in the end, the cylons cannot destroy the humans because they have the same god.

Thanks Blade Runner for all the post of Battlestar, without them I would be lost. ;D Now i know what your on about I've read this on another site It could have been Boxey who wrote Cylon on the mirror, because of the photos on gateworld.net . . . we know Sharon pulls a gun on Boxey. It's probably because Boxey has found her out, and is threatening to expose her. At this point in the story, he is probably testing her. Spying on her, and seeing what her reaction is when he does stuff like that. Because we all know kids like Boxey are extremely nosey and annoying. From Bastille Day, he seems to know where she is at any particular time, "it's 14:00, she's in the tool room" He may even be around to witness when she goes off on one.

I'm thinking it could be any of the crew on the deck that wrote on the mirror: that seems like a tight-knit bunch there, and I bet word & rumor gets around quick.

Another class A episode.
I thought Baltars reaction was priceless. The sheer panic in the lab, and the scene in the toilet was brilliant. ;D

Has anyone thought that Boxy could be the hidden Cylon (sorry wrong thread I know) like in 'Screamers'.
