i would have to say i was a little disappointed, for this one reason: i think they rushed into the whole issue of tribunals. i think this would have been better as a two-parter: part 1, Adama and the Prez wrestle over the issue of whether to tell the fleet that the new Cylons look like us, culminating in Roslin's announcement; part 2, the tribunal questioning.
IMHO, i think Adama's rush to judgment as to whether there should be tribunals and Roslin's rush to judgment on whether to reveal the truth about the new Cylons to the fleet were out of character for both of them.
Also, i didn't see what the big deal was about Adama putting a stop to the tribunal. Yes, he agreed to the independent council. Yes, he agreed to give free reign to Sergeant Hadrian (hmmm...a possible allusion to the concept of Hadrian's Wall?), even to the point of her being unanswerable even to him. But wasn't it Adama who gave permission for the tribunal to be enacted? Surely, by his command it can be stopped.
i don't think so. The only Cylon model he knows for sure about is Loeben. Dural was because of their trust in Baltar; but they left Dural back at RA, not really knowing proof positive that he was a Cylon. Adama, as most everyone in his inner circle, knows little more than anybody else about what the Cylon models look like. In fact, i think Adama first realized that Baltar was right about Dural when Adama saw Dural on the Galactica, approximately two weeks after they had left him at RA. Giving his security chief what little and vague information they had would inevitably lead her to enact an inquisition if given the opportunity.
(9) Did Boomer actually leave the hatch open that allowed the Cylon bomber into the ship? If so, does she know that she did? If not, then who?
Has anyone thought that Boomer led Tyrol into their little tryst that night in order to distract him from what was going on? If it was his duty to make sure all corridors on the hanger deck are secure, then was she leading him into a meeting that night so that he would be distracted from doing this? i would have to see an overview of the corridor hatch in question to speculate any further on this...
i thought the same thing. In fact, i finished her line for her before she said it, thinking that she was going to say something else. When she said it, i booed internally.
Not that i didn't enjoy this episode or would've rather been watching something else--it was still high quality tv. i'll just take this one as a character and plot development episode and eagerly anticipate the next one. IMHO, i think EJO and Aaron Douglas shined the most this episode.
So Say We All! ;D

(8) Tyrol now has enough information to suspect Boomer. He knows about the missing detonators, and the water tank, and the explosives in the Raptor, and her lapses of memory, and the open hatch which allowed the Doral-Cylon to enter the ship. Furthermore, and has seen (firsthand!) the dangers of trying too hard to protect her. ...(9) Did Boomer actually leave the hatch open that allowed the Cylon bomber into the ship? I think this episode is a testament to how much of an ensemble cast this is. Absolutely no Apollo and just a couple small scenes with Starbuck. The security Sgt. and the Chief with his crew were the main players on the Galactica storyline and held up the whole episode without any battles or Apollo and Starbuck. So Say We All! ;D
