Well, one thing is different already only 2 minutes in: they now show the episode's title before it begins.... Ah, good old American broadcasting.

It will be interesting to see if anything is cut to fit the amount of ads the US have

Ok...the new opening theme is....well, ok. I wasn't crazy about the old one, but I think I like it better than this; at least it was unique. the new one is more of a straight funeral-march-type-thing that segues into a slightly reworked drum section. Not bad, but still the opening is the weakest part of the show to me...which is good, I guess

Really disappointed by the US theme. I had grown to really like the chant from the SkyOne variant. Also, did anyone notice on the lowdown the footage of Boomer and Helo doing the nasty? I don't remember seeing the actual footage of that in the UK version, either.

In the ep (six degrees of separation?), I think it was cut in with scenes of Galactica Boomer with her locker, but I think on the previouslys, they show a version with it all together

Yeah, Crashdown, I thought I caught that in the lowdown, too. It sure looked like they were doing the wild monkey dance to me!
Ooohh, too cool how Starbuck turns her viper around to fire the shots across the Olympic's bow!

Doing the nasty? My bad... would using the word "coitus" make you feel better? Whatever. My point was that the act seemed to be implied moreso on the skyone version. I certainly don't seem to remember seeing the "red eye" running along Boomer's spine in any episode I'd seen previously.

I think its a hip look.

Are the end credit and music the same?

Just played my tape back to try and catch it. I couldn't tell because there were commercial voice-overs.
BTW - I agree that the intro. they used in the US airing tonite is weak.
