I've been wondering this one for a while. I just can't figure out what languatron's beef is? I visit his website every now and then and it's like watching a train reck: you know you shouldn't look but you just can't stop. Did he get fired from Sci-Fi, or something? I bring this up cuz I the titles like "The Hump Fest Between TV Guide And Ronald D. Moore Continues" has to have some underlying Freudian meaning, I just can't figure it out Reverend J P.S. I will note, it took several pints to help me 'ponder' this ;D

Lang is a clever marketing ploy to make enemies of RDM's BSG look like complete idiots.
Any time someone comes up with a criticism, all that needs to be done is mutter "sounds like something Lang would say" and chuckle away.

Some suspect that's the case, although if so it goes a bit farther than that. Lang steals other people's arguments, turns them up to their illogical extreme, and then accuses the other people of being "Stealth Marketers" (formerly "Universal Executives," until he stole his new phrase from Spider987) using "reverse psychology."

Wait. He stole a phrase from Spider? But I thought Spider was a stealth marketer now? The whole thing cracks me up though, when he starts taking pot shots at fellow pro-TOS fans, Glen Larson and Richard Hatch, you really have to wonder what he's actually supporting.

You know that old truism about the enemy of your enemy being your friend? Well, I think Spiderr may finally have realised that nobody likes him, and as such, maybe if nobody's your friend, everyone becomes your enemy? Or something.

I thought it ran "The enemy of my enemy...is still my enemy. Whatever."

Ah, but Galactica is only doing well if you believe the Stealth Marketers. According to others, the figures have been disappointing...

Ah, but Galactica is only doing well if you believe the Stealth Marketers. According to others, the figures have been disappointing... Indeed the second season that was to be given enough episodes to allow Moore to wrap it up, oh wait, I mean 22 episodes and this comes from a reliable source, gee, you mean there is 20 episodes now. Well still the news from the boardroom is concern for the shows future…whatever that means!
