This is perhaps one of the best secondary characters on the show. Hotdog's name is Costanza believe it or not. I wonder if Seinfeld's George Costanza was an inspiration? Bodie is EJO's son. Hotdog proved his worth in Acts by helping Kara. he could have returned to the ship. We see him at the beginning of You Can't Go Home reporting Kara's last known position.

Weakening, no. If I see something I like I will give the new show credit where it is due. Weakening is running away or promising people an end goal and pulling the rug from under them IMHO.
