And of that we are all (or should all be) very grateful. Praise the gods that Blade Runner is here to save the day (or rather save us all from the freak that is Languatron). ;D Yes, I've noticed he now keeps ranting about us along with galactica.tv. I was wondering what would happen when he found out about us.

I don't know how the bloke can be so shallow, but enough of Blade Runner. LOL ;D
No, Blade only joking!!! I mean Languatron of course.
I'd agree with him to the extent that TOS was good, in the eighties at least.
But everything changes. In Soccer the keeper can't pick the ball up when it's kicked back to him.
In the NFL video review by referees was removed, then it was put back in again.
So it's about time that he just got over it.
After all, as was said to Mary Whitehouse (for those of you in the US she did for TV in the UK, what Tipper Gore did for the music industry in the US) on so many occasions, just change the damn channel.........

To be honest, it looked to me like someone (one of the younger posters, can't remember who) pointed out to Douglas that some interweb wackotron had been insulting him, and Douglas responded with an unbelievably long rant about said wackotron that was shocking to me (probably because I had no idea what or who they were talking about). I understand that this individual is perceived as a menace and a villain, but paying any attention to him whatsoever just rewards him for his poor behavior. I would have preferred to have kept my good opinion of Douglas as well, but he didn't exactly take the high road. No need to act like a bunch of crazed teenagers, right? S.

We've all got a bit of crazed and rebelious teenager in us, even when we've reached (or have nearly reached) 40.
But, if you've worked hard, whether as an actor or not, it's just not nice to have someone personally attack and then keep attacking what you've done or do.
Aaron and Co. are lucky that they have been given somewhat of a free hand in what they're doing on TNS.
Judging from Aaron's posts about the last project that he worked on, he and his cast on that show had to do exactly what they were told.
In cases like this issulting an actor is wrong, because it's the directors mistake if they don't allow the actor to change some of the dialoge if it doesn't work correctly.
Lang is, and I hate to say this, entitled to his views, but he should not make his attacks so personal and launch them again and again.
Nuff said on Lang, back to the correct thread now please.

Now, if you're 40 and feel that going "rah rah" is appropriate when people are making ridiculously obscene and offensive statements about each other, that's your right, and you can justify it any way you wish. Meanwhile, I will think that you are a silly lad (a 40 year old lad, but ok) as well as a very nice fellow. Cool? xo, S.

Languatron deserves any abuse he gets. I've watched this guy for more than a year and viewed records of flame wars going back three years. Anything Aaron said to him is justified.
While I prefer the high road myself, its refreshing to see someone receive the knock on the head they deserve....and Aaron served it up the way any good hockey fan from Canada would.

But I was thinking about why 12 cylons and a thought occurred what if this was some reference to the 12 apostles. Does this mean that when they are referring to "God" are they talking about someone we haven't seen yet? Maybe the person who gave the old cylons the capability to mimic human form and enhance their AI? If so where are they? Also if this is the case who is their Judas? Is it the 6 in Baltars mind? IMHO the number of models is definitely religious in symbolism, given Six's talk of God. i would just add that it could also be the 12 tribes of Israel and/or Judah from the Old Testament.

(oo scary first post here!) As a long time PKD fan and a big fan of what I've seen of the new BSG, I feel I should point out that the X models of human infiltrator idea is lifted almost directly from the Philip K Dick short story "Second Variety" (I think it was once made into a movie called "Screamers', which I havn't seen and probably stinks). In the story I think there were only 6 models (the 'Varieties' of the title)..anyway its an awesome short story and BSG fans could do worse than check it out..contains alot of the "is he a human or robot" type paranoia that the series is doing. .could answer a few questions. Don't see this as me accusing the series of "stealing" ideas..I think its great that they've gone with the idea and have done a good job of it.

Welcome to the board, KDF , There are some similarities to the movie Screamers and the Cylons in BSG. , although the Cylons have been much less hokey than the evolved screamers. I haven't read the story its based on, but the movie got pretty laughable once the robots too on human form; thankfully this hasn't been the case with BSG, the Cylons have been the scariest humanoid robots since Blade Runner. And no, I don't mean you, BR
