What do think what is going to happen to Laura Roslin in season 2. She has cancer and has been told she is terminal? Will she live? Will she die? or she be saved some other world event. Crewman Specialist Cally

I think that one interesting thing that might happen to her is that her life is saved by advanced Cylon technology. I have no basis at all for this speculation that I can vigorously defend. I just think it would be a very interesting turn of events. And I think the actress that plays Roslin gives a nice counterbalance to Adama's considerable gravitas.
In fact, it flies in the face of lots of evidence we've seen about human-Cylons touting Colonial Scripture (the leader to Earth, after all has to be dying, although I guess at this point Adama fills that bill, too).
Realistically, I don't think things will improve much for Roslin. If she remains healthy, she'll likely stay in the brig. If her health deteriorates, she'll likely be released for humanitarian reasons. Either way, her time as the head of state for the Colonies will be at an end.
If she were, somehow, revived by Cylon technology things would get fascinatingly muddled in a typical TNS sort of way. She would be fit enough to lead. Nevertheless there would always be a cloud of suspicion above her. Her motives would be questioned agressively, especially by Tom Zarek.
Like I said, not a very likely scenario, but it's nice to try to follow the implications through.

I think it all depends on the timeline. Season 1 only covered a period of about 5 weeks. If each subsequent season follows suit, she could die within 6 months of her diagnosis, but still be on the show for 6 years.

But in one of earlier ep, woman told the president of the prophetic which say she is going to lead humans to promise land and then dies of illness.

I think the show shouldn't be afraid to have a well loved character to die.
The story goes that the prophecy states that a dying leader will show them the direction of the promise land, but the leader riddled with a disease will not be able to see or set foot on the promise land.
I know it sucks, but I think that being a good writer shouldn't be afraid to write off a character when the character has served the purpose of the story.

Ummmm...isn't Laura Roslin going to be revealed as a cylon? I don't know about her "cancer" (do cylons get sick?)
I am basing this on one thing and one thing only.
The fact that gun runner cylon they met back on Ragnar said he had "allergies". Then when Laura Roslin asked about Galactica's ship doctor, she also claimed that she had "allergies".
Spooky.

Everyone says they have allergies when they're trying to cover up a medical condition. That's my standing excuse when I want a mental health day from work. ;D

Sorry. I don't buy the "alergies" comment as evidence. It's too inocuous, and too heavily countered by the fact that she is the one who initiated the formation of the refugee fleet. IMO, she did far more during the Holocaust to save humanity from extinction than Adama did.

Hmm...come to think about it...Adama actually nearly bought humans to totally extinction. Mostly because he wanted revenge and go after cylons even if they are already outmatched and outnumbered. It was Roslin who told him to escape instead of go after em.
You are right about writer kill off good character but it is still painful to do that ya know? Just not for a while...I would like to see her knowing that her vision came true which I hope it does before she dies if she does.

I am starting to really dislike her character, which is probably a good thing seeing as she and Zeus will have a major parting of the ways in ptII of the S1 finale. I am sure she will be on for all of S2, past that who knows. Given the speed at which they are going she may go for three full seasons before she kicks the bucket.
