Over at Cylon Alliance a rumor is circulating that BSG might have 22 episodes instead of 20. AS I pay attention to all rumors (even the ones I start), I checked with my BSG source today: 20 is still the number he has heard. If it is 22, however, this would make me VERY HAPPY. ;D If not, no big deal. Will keep you updated. KR

KR That would be cool, while I like 13 (some people spin that to signify a lack of commitment and doubts about the show by Sci-Fi) 20 episodes is a huge commitment, but nothing says I love you like a full 22 episode season!

20 or 22 It's all the same to me. Another full season of BSGTNS! All the Moore the merrier as long as its quality!! Either way its more than TOS ever got.

22 would be much better. The more, the better.
I miss seasons with 26 episodes...

26 In my opinion would lose quality. There whould too many filler episodes and weak stories. 20-22 is pushing it to the max before quality starts going down the tube.

Then you get clip show episodes, and the 'lighthearted' (read: no-brainer) ones that plagued the later seasons of shows like the X Files. The 'Moore' the merrier (v. good, CylonGod!) indeed, but let's not get carried away and compromise on the quality!
