Log ins

I've posted this before - and it is one reason I don't visit here much - but does anyone else have trouble staying logged in here? Every other board I am a member of I can hibernate my laptop, come back and I am still in. This board I just have to leave and it logs me out - if I do a google search now say, I'd be logged out when I come back.

The check box "always stay logged on" - does that require the "time to be logged on" box to be blank? Though I've tried it both ways, blank and not - no difference. Would it work if I put 1 billion hours in there?

I can't believe I'm the only person in the world this happens to - and it's XP with IE6, not something more voodoo.

I havnt heard of anyone else having problems but I do get logged out of the Admin forum everytime I leave it

Basestar - I've experienced this issue, too. I thought at first it was just me. Sometimes when I go off elsewhere on the internet, without logging out, I return to the Ragnar boards only to be asked to log in again. Yet, and here is the really strange part, if I scroll down to the bottom of the screen, I see the site still counts me as being logged in ( ). I've checked to make sure I don't have multiple "windows" of the internet open, so I'm not sure why the site is asking me to log-in again if its already counting me as being "in the house".

Blade Runner: I seem to remain logged in to the Admin forum as long as I remain logged-in in general. I only get 'kicked out' if I use the back button to navigate around instead of using the hierarchy tree to get around.

Try this; instead of logging in, when it promptms you again, just try refreshing the page or hitting the topmost link in the upper left tree....sometimes when I come on it takes me to the login screen, but I just do one o' those things & I'm a-ok.

I think it has something to do with my Norton’s Internet Security there must be a cookie that my firewall will not accept. At work, I can come and go and I am always logged in. At home I come to ragnaranchorage.proboards25.com/index.cgi?action=login2 and it says An Error Has Occurred! Invalid username/password combination.

However, if I click on the home icon it takes me to the board and I am logged in.

I have the same problem, & it gets irritating to have to log in every time! Hopefully they fix this! I post on the TrekBBS quite often & NEVER have to re-log in! If they fix this, it would be great!
