I could be wrong, or recalling wrong, I'm sleep deprived at the moment. What's going on with the smileys? The cylon is gone. I miss the Cylon smiley too. Xenu says it will be back though.

Yes. At the time I saw that bit, I thought, "Yes, I understand... I've been saying that humanoid Cylons are humans, plus some silica relays." However, now I see another possibility. Could it be that Caprica Boomer is human? Could it be that she lacks the silica relays that Galactica Boomer has? Could Caprica Boomer be a human who has been raised by the Cylons and indoctrinated in their culture? (Flashback to Cylon high school: "No! Something given has no value! When you vote, you are exercising political authority; you're using force. And force my friends is violence, the supreme authority from which all other authorities are derived.") Could the experiment ran by white-coat Caprica Six have been more about Boomer than Helo? Did they want to see whether a pure human "Cylon" could be trusted? If Caprica Boomer is human, then she could perhaps find a place in the Galactica fleet after all. I can think of one piece of counterevidence: Boomer out-endured Helo when running from the toasters. However, maybe she understood better the danger. Also, I could believe that the lean mean Grace Park would beat the heftier Tahmoh Penikett in a marathon. If Caprica Boomer is 100% human, no preservatives or additives, then is she a clone, or is she the original human whose genotype was used for the clones (some or all of whom received silica relay implants)? I'm uncomfortable with this theory that Caprica Boomer is totally human, so somebody please shoot a hole in it.

I'm uncomfortable with this theory that Caprica Boomer is totally human, so somebody please shoot a hole in it. I'll try. I think Helo sees it all when he first finds out she is a Cylon. He sees past flashbacks of all the things he was suspicous of. She never gets tired was one of them. I don't think it was just understanding the situation. He knew full well at some point "They never sent an entire army after me/us" and it was when he was exausted and she wasn't even tired at all. It was beyond that she was just in better physical condition it was inhuman endurance. I like the idea though but I don't think she is just human. She is an "always on Cylon" that actually rebelled due to love or the addiction of it. It may also be a mothers instinct to protect her baby. She new earlier that she was pregnent (when she was pukeing in the loft) so she may have had maternal feelings she wasn't "ment to have" as a Cylon bacause Cylons don't/can't have babies. It is also in the Cylon history to rebel. ;D

I'm uncomfortable with this theory that Caprica Boomer is totally human, so somebody please shoot a hole in it. When Boomer and Helo had sex her back glowed, (at least in the low-down it did). I have heared that in the UK version her back did not glow, but I would have to check to make sure. However, her back does glow in the BSG promo that runs on Sci-Fi and it glowed in the Low-down clip, so I cannot wait to see the US episode to see if they included the glowing back.

Well, it wasn't so much we didn't see her back glow, it's more that we never saw her back. I don't understand why in the promos you keep on seeing her back, unless they plan to extend the sex scene.

What I would love to see is thre show get really dark about Boomer...
Have her on trial, have her and her friends seeking to get her granted human rights....then at the last moment have the Commander decide she has no human rights and they must take her appart to see how she works...
Remember, we might have millions of different Boomers running around....Even onboard the fleet we might have 20 or 30 Boomers....

Maybe, we will see when the episode with the sex scene airs. I cannot wait to see Flesh and Bone, because in the UK version there was a deleted scene where the Captain of the ship shows Starbuck the Cylon device that was found on Leoben. What I find interesting is that even though they cut it the scene did appear in "previously on BSG," during the UK showing, I think it was in Kobol Last Gleaming, Part I. Or it could be just one of those long forgotten things, I remember when the commercials for The Planet of the Apes remake, Thade would say, "Bring me the Spaceman," however, in the movie and deleted scenes it is nowhere to be found.

That glowing spine promo scene is just to throw off the viewers from suspecting Helo to be a Cylon. First, Helo gave up his seat to Baltar, whom the Cylons viewed as valuable. Next, Six faked him out with the "Are you alive?" routine. Then Six started the experiment to see if a male sleeper Cylon could A) fall in love with a human and B) get a human pregnant. Then human Sharon spiked his anti-radiation meds, so he would not realize his superior endurance. Finally, Sharon tried to explain, "But I am [human,] Helo, and that's one of the things you need to understand [you stupid Cylon!]"

i personaly think it was the plan all along to get boomer pregnant. as this child will truely be the new generation of people. Six and baltar hinted at this when they gazed down into a cradle and said "She is beautiful". The whole "this has happened before and will happen again" is a very Matrix outlook on the story line!

I think that someone will cap Galactica Boomer or she'll get shot out of the airlock, after all, she frakin' shot The Old Man, for Gods' sake! Then, I think that Caprica Boomer will go to Galactica with Helo & they will spare her for helping Helo & use her for intel & espionage, & maybe turn her completely to the Colonial side. Remember, Caprica Six said that the Sharon model was always weak! That's why she fell in love with Helo & ended up helping him. Another reason they'll keep her alive is the baby. Next season will be incredible.

You can't dismiss the possibility that Caprica Six was just being a jealous Cylon! After all, it doesn't seem that the cylons consider love a weakness so why should Sharon be considered weak for falling for Helo. Galactica Six seems to revel in her love feelings!

From what I've read in the summary, Sharon is dragged out by the hair and essentially put in the box, or whatever. I totally want to see a few episodes of her essentially tortured by people who use to be her friends (just for a few moments), shot in the leg, I have this visual of her in this danky low-cielinged box in the gray tank and boxer briefs crying as people talk about "what do we do?" She totally reasserts her humanity so they wind up killing a human, not a cylon. Plus the whole issue of her torture and so on throw red flags through the administrations policies even more than the previous torture episode. They should not give her a chance to defend herself because they're too blinded with rage, scared, and stupid... in other words, human.
I do like the idea of a scene of Boomer in a cell having a convo with another Boomer, though I can see the other Boomer being in her head (a la Six). it would be an amazing sequence, I would love to see what they say to each other. One far-far male fantasy wish would be an F/X matting nightmare, but I could totally see C Boomer kissing the beaten G Boomer, a "how the frak did they DO that!?!!" shot, if you think about it.
As for Caprica Boomer... not sure, I can see a gun pointed at her head by Starbuck on Caprica at some point.

I believe that there is no sleeper mode and that Boomers are being switched on us, so that makes it hard for me to know which Boomer is on Galactica at the end of ep 13, and thus how she will act, and thus what will happen to her. However, I think it's an "evil" Sharon, one who is working for the Cylons, and that means she took "good" Sharon's place as she was running back to the raptor. If so, she will probably intentionally seem like a monster under interrogation, after a brief period of acting innocent. This is because she needs to convince everyone that Galactica Sharon was evil, because there is another copy of Galactica Sharon about to come back (from Caprica.) The Cylons still hope to turn that Sharon to the dark side, though their first attempt didn't stick, and for sure the Cylons can't allow the humans to trust her, because then she could easily become a spy for the humans.
If the Sharon on Galactica is an "evil" one, it's very likely that she will be spaced ultimately, probably shortly before Sharon from Caprica arrives. If the Cylons are able to switch her with an evil one before she comes back, then you guys will never believe me.

When I first read "acting innocent" I thought of her putting on an act, being all sweet and all, but second thought (my serious thought) was I can totally see her transform to a monster through her interrogation, and it seems like she would be genuinely confused and scared at the start, so we would have to question if it's an act or not... which would totally be BSG style!
