Will they space her, put her in front of a firing squad, or will they grant her a military tribunal? The first and second options are what most likely will happen, however, what if she gets a tribunal, who will defend her and will they use Clyon conditioning (brainwashing) as a defense? Would Baltar defend her…is this scenario too far removed from the realm of possibility?

It probably depends on her reasons for shooting him, she could say she thought he was a cylon after seeing one on the Basestar. But she will still get found out when Kara gets back and Baltar will be in the shit for clearing her.

My predictions (and worth every penny I've been paid for them). - Galactica Boomer goes to the brig and will face court martial. No summary judgement and spacing.
- Caprica Boomer may or may not return to Gallactica. My guess is that Starbuck won't have room in the raider to return with passengers, and will stick to her mission to Kobol with the Arrow of Apollo. In any event, Starbuck herself will return to Gallactica, cementing the fact that Gallactica Boomer is identified as Cylon.
- If I'm wong, and Caprica Boomer returns with Helo to Galactica, she ends up with Galactica Boomer as her cellmate, and Roslin as neighbor. What an opportunity for interesting dialog.
- Both the troops and the Colonists need a boost to morale. As in "LA Confidential", the facts are manipulated to increase confidence in the figures of authority. Boomer's "callsign" is justified as she is celebrated as the sacker of basestars, but her public appearances are closely observed and managed. Roslin is allowed to eke out her brief lifespan as the visionary leader searching for Earth. Adama is revered as being greviously wounded in "enemy action". Order is restored. Adama recovers. Earth is sought but not found. An attempt is made to "turn" Boomer into a Colonial intelligence asset.

I think Colonel Tigh will just say "Cylon bitch!" and throw her out the airlock.
But I like anotherquestion's theories.

Although they may initially jump to the conclusion that she is a Cylon, reason will prevail and they will lock her away, awaiting either court martial or a tribunal. No doubt Colonial history contains instances of commanders being assassinated by subordinate officers. And in our history, we have the enlisted men who fragged their own LT's in Vietnam, and Nazi officer Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg and his fellow conspirators who tried to assassinate Hitler. Remember, there was an assassin running loose on Colonial Day, and he was not a Cylon, so one need not be a Cylon to be an assassin.
But before much can be done with Galactica Boomer, I would expect that Starbuck and/or Boomer will return from Caprica. Then if Boomer has not been rescued from the brig (by Gaeta or Boxey), she probably will be executed.
Meanwhile, the writers cannot pass up the fun of having the crashed raptor crew on Kobol encounter another Boomer, whom they think is friendly Galactica Boomer there to rescue them. Only Baltar will know that she is a Cylon, so hilarity will ensue while Baltar tries to disuade the group from following Boomer without blowing his own cover.

I think Colonel Tigh will just say "Cylon bitch!" and throw her out the airlock. But I like anotherquestion's theories. ;D definately a possibility, but the character is too good to blow out the airlock. I think immediate brig time for our lovely boomer...then they will realize the potential of a possible double agent and intel gathering....this keeps the door open for storylines and lurking danger

I don't think she will be spaced but she would be in the bring for sure. I don't think they would do anythig to Caparica Boomer as she actually helped Helo and has turned sides. They might grill her and ride her to be sure but she hasn't actually done anythig wrong. She would be their Cylon specialist. They might even use her to (somehow) turn off the sleeper part of Galactica Boomer. If they do it they would never let her near anything (ie cic, Adama) important. Most likely sent to another non important ship. If they can't "fix" her then off to the brig. It would be real hard to space her after her work on the basestar.

I'll be danged, CG...I think you might have something there. I never thought about it before, but 'replacing' Galactica Boomer w' Caprica Boomer might indeed be the way that they keep Grace Park's character around after having the best of both worlds, with her playing both hero & villain.
Galactica Boomer's Cylon side might win out with Caprica Boomer eventually becoming 'human'.....I dunno exactly how they'll do it, but now I'm curious to see if that's not what they do.

I just realized something "awful." If Galactica Boomer is still a fully functioning Cylon agent, then she should immediately confess "everything," because her cover is about to be blown anyway by Starbuck (and/or Caprica Boomer) returning from Caprica. She should say how she found herself wet with explosives just before the water tanks blew. She should say that she left the access hatch open, the one that Doral used. She should say that she tried to kill herself, because she was afraid she was a Cylon. She should say how she saw all the Sharons on the basestar, confirming her worst fear. With tears streaming down her face, she should then lie and say that once she knew she was a Cylon, she defected to the humans' side. Then she will say because of her defection she blew up the basestar and she shot Adama, because he is a Cylon. Boomer will be lying, but Loeben has already planted the seeds of doubt in the minds of both the viewers and Roslin with his statement "Adama is a Cylon." Then the writers will leave us with this mind-frack until at least the following episode.
Baltar's test of Boomer was confidential, probably. If Boomer does not point her finger at Baltar, it is probably evidence that she is still a fully functional Cylon.
If Baltar makes it back to Galactica, they might call on him to deprogram Boomer. I could see Six saying, "And just like that, Dr. Baltar invents the "Amazing Cylon Deprogammer."

I like the predictions by anotherquestion, eventhough Tigh might be thinking " Cylon Bitch " and getting an an urge to throe her out of the air lock . I think that RDM have to write those type of scripts ecspecially if Mr. Olmos comes back as Commander Adama . WHA

Yeah Xenu by exchanging the Boomers (one banished off ship and the other as Cylon specialest) they keep "sharon" while making it belivable to keep her on the BSG. Oddly enough they have the same name. The leoben and Conoy copies have differnet actual names. I guess we will have to wait and see if it plays out something like that.

Didn't Helo say something about Caprica Boomer not even being human, and she replied 'but I am and thats something you have to understand?' I think Galactica Boomer has to be disposed off and that line cleared up. Caprica Boomer will stay with them, she's had problems performing her properly anyway, makes sense to me that she could go back to Galactica. As for Baltaar, he had a choice to make, can we be sure he even does go back to Galactica? I think he's a cylon. ;-)
I could be wrong, or recalling wrong, I'm sleep deprived at the moment. What's going on with the smileys? The cylon is gone.

Well, I guess if either Boomer dies, their consicience will be transferred to another body and will return for revenge.

I don't care how the writers will do it, but Boomer should eventually still pilot Raptors. Boomer belongs in a cockpit of a spacecraft.
